Glee! [merged]

I thought I recalled a "live" performance of her where she sang quite decently. But I could picture her getting all Ke on us...

And did you notice Blaine's face when he said "You're so gansta, I'm so thug?"

Kinda thought he looked really hot...

That's i think is one of the draws of Darren/Blaine he is really animated and really performs. He gives really great visual interpretations of the songs he performs.

He always makes faces when he is singing. I thought i was the only one that noticed that. Oh and yes it is very cute that he does that.

Blaine's facial expressions are numerous, emotive and awesome. It just underscores how much better a performer he is than most of the cast. And yeah the one you mentioned in particular is adorable!

'Glee' star strikes 'Lightning'

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118028572

"Glee" star Chris Colfer is looking to be "Struck by Lightning," making his bigscreen debut by toplining the indie coming-of-age comedy that's been set up with David Permut ("Youth in Revolt").

Colfer also wrote the script for "Lightning," which is to be shot during the "Glee" hiatus next summer. Permut plans to attach a director and other cast before going out to financiers in the new year.

The script, Permut said, captures the spirit of movies penned by the late John Hughes."

Colfer received an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel in "Glee." Glenn Rigberg, who manages Colfer, will exec produce, and Steve Longi, Permut's VP of production, will co-produce. Rigberg exec produced HBO's "You Don't Know Jack."

Permut's currently producing the Sam Kinison biopic at HBO Films with Tom Shadyac, who's also attached to direct, and a feature film based on the life of John De Lorean, currently being written by Adam Mazer.

Christmas episode was okay - a few good scenes but by and large very routine. Still, I did like the group song at the end...

...it felt like Kurt was cast to the sidelines for this week, added for the obligatory song and that was about it...

The Grinch storyline was predictable. I love the Brit Brit storyline and the scene between Brit Brit and Bieste was very touching. I teared up. The duet w/ Blaine/Kurt was very kewt. I am wondering why they are not hanging out more or maybe Sam will be the twist in their story. I know when i was their age i had a itch i couldn't wait to scratch and i got my first man kiss at 15.

I am also glad that Finn didn't automatically forgive Rachel. That was some dumb shit she did. I Luved Luved Artie getting his Robotic Legs . I hope the find a good way to use them on the show. Artie did gr8 with Safety Dance.

Glee is like my fave show right now ! Season 2 has been amazing...the Britney episode, Blaine, Teenage dream, Gwenyth Paltrow....awwww its been soooooo amazing ! <3

It was an ok christmas special show. I kind of want the other "new" characters to come into play such as Cheyenne Jackson, and Charice.

And is anyone else getting sick of the Britney storylines? It is funny every now and then, but it seems her dumb persona is popping up in every episode. I laughed the first few couple times, but now I am starting to get a little annoyed.

maybe it's the Grinch inside of me, but I just wanted to punch Rachel right in the face this episode.

Agreed, she was much more funny when she dropped a weird-beyond-reason line every other episode, but they lose appeal when there is too much of them.

This episode was "okay", I like to seeing the kids being nice for a change, I wish I had a nostalgic connection with the songs though.

Either way, the end made me tear up a little.

With this recent episode, I have concluded that Murphy has little creative control over Glee anymore. Now that Fox's old gem, that is Idol, gone, they moved onto milking Glee for music sales and we just have to accept it as that. I don't mind the music that much (but when it's auto-tuned crap instead of authentic, it's painful to listen to) but I didn't think there was such a thing as over-produced. There are a few good singers on the show but the need to auto-tune when they sing with others takes away from it greatly.

A Klaine spoiler

This year I was most excited for Glee's Chris Colfer, who at age 20 is up for a Golden Globe (airing January 16 on NBC) and a Screen Actors Guild Award (airing January 30 on TNT and TBS). After coming out of the closet and battling homophobia, will Chris' Kurt finally find love with Blaine on the February 8 Valentine's Day episode? I hear the two will be crooning Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone" outside a Gap store as Blaine prepares to profess his love. "There might be a development," hints Chris.

There's a lot of new songs that are being posted/leaked.

There was a mashup of MJ's "Thriller" and the Yeah's x3 "Heads Will Roll"

Destiny's Child's "Bills, bills, bills" (yes, the male cast sings it?)

I am just sick of autotune.

A lot of people are, but I don't think you could have Glee without it. They release a ridiculous amount of music a year (wikipedia lists 12 CDs for the last year and a half alone  and there are still songs from the show that haven't made it onto a disc). That wouldn't be possible if they had to re-record every time someone flubbed a note.
