Glee! [merged]

Here is another preview of the Warblers, this time, singing "When I Get You Alone."

Trying to come up with some sort of context for this happening makes my head hurt. Blaine is stalking a guy while he's at work? The Warblers are bad asses? If it weren't for Kurt and his woobie eyes, I'd swear this was a different show than the one that went on hiatus in December.

It seems like this show is just taking a swan dive off a cliff into absurdity. WTB songs with context =(.

In the very first episode, the goody-two-shoes Spanish teacher used planted marijuana to lie and blackmail the quarterback into joining the Glee club.

This show has been absurd from the start. You can fight it every week and not enjoy yourself, or you can embrace it.

Oh I know the plot is completely crazy. Contextually speaking, I meant the songs actually had somewhat of a reference to the actual plot back in season 1. Sure they can lampoon themselves with Mr. Shu and his affinity for Journey (I love Journey also but still lol) Many critics have noted also that Glee has just become a "kidz bop" for the Top40 (although with a much higher production cost).

With that said, I applaud Kings of Leon and holding out on Glee. Although I don't condone their homophobic comments towards Murphy, I am glad they didn't tarnish their music for the sake of publicity. I knew there was a reason I liked them (before they got huge).

Their music did appear in Gossip Girl, if I'm not mistaken. So, Gossip Girl, but not Glee? The lead singer apparently explained that they hadn't even seen the show; they just turned it down because they had already been "over-promoting 'Use Somebody.'"

Here's another "When I Get You Alone" because the other link was removed.

Darren Criss is like a meteor that came out of nowhere. Based on his talent alone, this young man definitely deserves to be a star.

I confess. I'm gradually getting hooked on this show. It never caught my attention before. But I've been tuning in more recently.

Yah KoL was on Gossip Girl and I am sure Murphy wanted the song "Use Somebody" and I agree the song has become overkill (and the reason I hate the band now).

I mean, it was also rumored that one reason Gwyneth Paltrow was on the show was to help convince Chris Martin (lead singer of Coldplay and her husband) to allow a song or two of theirs on because he has said no to Glee in the past. Of course he is very protective of their songbook for any commercial gain, just like Phil Collins and Elton John who also said no to Glee in the past. So I do know artists that have said no to Glee for whatever reason.

At least tonight's episode wasn't too bad. The over-the-top bipolar football team was a bit much. The whole Dalton thing with "bills bills bills" was completely out of place.

And poor Britney, "How many M's are there in 'R'?"

I thought tonight's episode was easily one of the best of the season so far, and of the series to date.

I'm convinced one of the writers is simply awful and bogging this show down. Haven't put my finger on which one, but it's definitely not Ian (the one that writes Sue).

It's a hit/miss with no middle ground.

Loved loved loved this episode to bits. The Warblers song was a bit weird and unrelated, but it was a fun little performance, so I don't mind.

I'm really pleased with the direction they're taking Karovsky in. He's easily becoming my new favourite character.

Quick questions as I've only seen up to The Rocky Horror Episode why isn't the actor who plays Puck around would have loved to see him do the Doctor lol.

Plus when Brittney sings is that actually Heather Morris's voice?

Last night eipsode was amazing! I love it So MUCH!

If Karovsky isnt a prick, I be all over him now! Hes kinda cute, but im sure that will change soon. hopefully!
