GOP House leadership makes it clear that gay equality is NOT tolerated in their party

Yet more evidence Ben is not a gay man.

Ben is a woman? A virtual transsexual?
Just as well justusboys isn't as exclusive as the name suggests... well, at least not as exclusive as some toilets.

Or simply a really, deeply disturbed, closeted, self-hating, greedy, self-obsessed, racist, southern Baptist man who has accepted that he needs to have another man suck his cock, but doesn't want any part of the gay 'lifestyle' ... which is what I suspect.

He is actually a type that exists out in the world. I've read their work in a number of places and have listened to them speak.

I suppose what we all are constantly thinking is 'Why does he waste his time on JUB'? He obviously holds 99% of us in deep contempt...is held in equal contempt by 99% of the posters here and is not very good at presenting or arguing the case for the far right conservative cause.

But if he didn't really exist, we'd have to invent him in order to remind everyone that this stupid bigotry and self-loathing actually does exist in the real world.

Our disagreement here and on other issues is not over the "lifestyle" but over the purpose and function of government. You believe that every detail of life should be controlled by the government. I do not.

Don't even bother trying to deflect.

Your hypocrisy is sickening considering that you would have the arm of every politician jammed into every woman's uterus and enacting all the laws that favour the far right conservative view of society and the world.

Too many times, the disparaging comments that you've made about homos have been checked on this forum.

But we're okay with your contempt.

Lifestyle? Really? Are you straight or a self loathing queer?

No. It is more than that. I stand by my post #24.

Even the most stalwart troll wouldn't have the focus and fixations of Benvolio.

I have met this person ...well at least I have certainly met his intellectual, emotional and spiritual brethren.

They do exist. Usually from a staunch racist, republican and hardline 'christian' heritage, they grow up feeling guilty and dirty, but finally reach a stage where they rationalize that as long as it is only about physical sensation and never about emotional involvement...they are distinct and separate from the homos. The sex they can always get forgiveness for...the love is unthinkable.

A lot of them marry women, thinking that they will submerge the urge..or that they can fuck guys as long as they have a 'legitimate' relationship.

And of course, if they actually have a diploma from some jerk off religious college like Oral Roberts U...they think that they are educated enough to comment on all science, biology, sociology and laws... because...well..you know....Jesus.

And of course....there's a whole sub-culture out there who hate the black man in the white house so much and are sure that before he leaves office he's going to Jade Helm ad Jihad the US into the One World Order. Right now, they are all out there screaming about the over-reach of guvamint...but if it was a bony old white male Republican claw grasping away civil rights and trying to re-shape the world to work only for protestant white males of European extraction....there aren't any laws they wouldn't support putting in place.

I will continue to defend and support Benvolio being around here though......he is at least emotionally and intellectually consistent...however repugnant or off base his positions may be.

It is good to hear the voice of the crazy.
It's easy to form a bubble thinking everyone is enlightened, just as I'm sure people on those fascism web sites think that everyone around them also hate blacks/gays/women/foreigners/liberals/artists/the poor/the young/single mothers/welfare/pacifists/accused criminals/aid agencies/regulation/atheists/Jewish people/Muslim people/Asian people/taxes/media/independent human rights bodies/unions/government services/science based education/history curriculums/coed bathrooms...

What have LGBT ever done to warrant such hatred?

Taken from a Craigslist post, words aren't mine. But I agree 100% with it. I'm supposed to be nice with people like this. We (LGBT) are expected to roll over and take it. And some ask why I've become far more militant. And why I hold the vast majority of the GOP in utter contempt.
==================================
Everyday there are stories coming out (no pun intended) that some legislature or cryshtyun organization have codified into their policies some form of discrimination for which there is no valid reasoning. They've orchestrated a set of falsehoods so well-crafted (in their own craniums) that they are convinced that LGBTs are the scourge of the planet. Yet there isn't a shred of factual validity to support their vilification enshrined in their tenets.

Today's current roundup of the "Twilight Zone" is further proof that a whole lot of people are being purposely misguided because for no other reason are following the herd:

Trump’s Supreme Court nominee: States should be able to jail people for ‘homosexual sodomy’

I'm guessing that heterosexual sodomy is just okay by him.

And we have yet another example today.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/27/us/politics/house-budget-gay-rights-paul-ryan.html

House Democrats managed to get the anti-discrimination amendment passed, but Republicans voted against the entire bill to block it.

It is clear that voting for any gay equality measure is so disgusting to Republicans that under no circumstances can they stomach it. :##:

Well , when you have to appease Mullah Robertson you can't have things like tolerance.

Interesting they were so willing to block their own bill because of a bipartisan inclusion.

They need the right wing Christian vote....and as always.....right wing Christians demand hate and discrimination to get them to the voting booth.....they need an enemy.... and we are it....

Republicans believe in free enterprise, Democrats believe in total government control. The democrat party is a collection of minorities, so, of course, their legislation is designed to require favored treatment of democrats, i.e. minorities, to the maximum extent possible. Republicans believe that the employer creates the job, pays all the wages, taxes and burdens, so he should be able to hire and promote the best person for the job. Jobs and the economy are too important to be destroyed by greedy politicians pandering to their voters. Legislation encouraging disgruntled employees and would be employees to sue for not getting their way, are in the long run destructive of jobs and harmful to employees. No one wants to hire trouble makers, and minority employees armed with special rights to sue are easily seen as trouble makers and less desirable as employees. Logically, non-union white males are the best employees because they have the fewest rights to make trouble against their employees. Better still are employees in third world countries, because they want to work, have few if any rights to make trouble, and because government burdens are fewer.

"The states should do this. The federal government shouldn't stick its nose in this business," Ryan said."

Wow, Ryan -- if the federal government shouldn't "stick its nose" into matters of individual rights, then what good is it as a government? Protecting inalienable rights is what government is for!

You lie. I have never said anything like that. Of course i think businesses should not discriminate against gays. I and the GOP think that the government should not dictate everything.

We already know you oppose government "dictating" things like equality and liberty. So I ask you the same thing I aimed at Ryan: if government isn't allowed to protect inalienable rights, why do we even have it?

(bold mine)

You paint everyone who disagrees with you with that. Anyone reading these forums would know it's false, though.

And we are all aware that you believe government shouldn't intervene on behalf of individual rights.
