Gov. Walker has decided to suspend 1st Amendment

Your interpretation is so one-sided and predictable.

What due process? You're talking about the WiFi of a WORKPLACE. They have the right to block whatever they want.

There is the possibility that a workplace can also be a public accommodation. They (he?) may very well have the right to block whatever they (he) wants. But the people (plaintiffs) have the right to contest the action in open court. Due process. If the jury rules in favor of the people, the DOA is DOA. If not, the governator wins: no wi-fi. This is a case where the technology has surpassed the political action and should be debated anyway.

However, this discussion may just be a "tempest in a teapot." By now, I wouldn't be surprised if Madison residents have offered the use of their DSL lines or I-Phones to the "bottom feeders" and "freeloaders."

In any event:

His state had a balanced budget until he started tinkering with it.

He is union busting. Just have balls and say you agree with union busting. We can spare each other the pretense.

Isn't that something?

You don't hear much from the right wing ball lickers here about Scott giving away $140 million in MORE tax breaks for the wealthy, just before he went after the Unions and blamed them fro the deficit..

Wouldn't it be nice though,if they would just let people know what their real agenda is? That they want to abolish unions, minimum wage and just about every law that protects workers..

It's not strange (given their real priorities) that they are going after teachers. The country they envision doesn't need educated people. They have no intention on producing anything of real value here anymore and don't need educated people or those capable of critical thought..

The teachers will be the first they diminish..

As has been discussed many times on here, the deficits Wisconsin is currently encountering were left for Walker by his predecessor. The deficits the state will have going forward are minimally contributed to by that $140 million, but also by Walker's predecessors bad decisions and a lot of expiring fiscal provisions.

That being said, Walker's overreaching when it comes to the collective bargaining issue. Even if it does pass, the fight wouldn't be over, and it is in no one's best interest for it to pass.
