Hot-head Isaiah Washington hurled a vicious gay slur at one of his co-stars during an on-set brawl – and the ugly explosion of hate is ripping apart TV’s number one show.

Last week, the ENQUIRER broke the blockbuster news that Isaiah, 43, choked Patrick Dempsey, 40, in an Oct. 9 fight on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy." And now we can reveal the secret behind the outrage.

“The melee has set off World War III on the show and may cost Isaiah his job,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.

“The cast is divided over the shameful event.”

As The ENQUIRER exclusively revealed last week, Patrick and Isaiah clashed over cast members being late to the set, right before shooting a scene at Prospect Studios in Los Angeles.

A heated discussion quickly escalated to violence when Isaiah snapped, revealed an eyewitness.

At one point, Isaiah yelled, “I’m not your little faggot like (name deleted),” according to the source. Those who heard him were stunned.

Because of the extreme nature of the slur, The ENQUIRER is withholding the name of the co-star targeted by Washington. During the brawl, an enraged Isaiah grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him a few feet. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)


(Note: By the way, the actor Isaiah was referring to is T.R. Knight who recently came out of the closet)

Since his charactor can no longer operate, with that trembling hand it, should be easy to find a way to write him out of the show.

Washington needs to be fired ASAP. In truth though I had read about T. R. Knight being gay some months ago in at least two reputable magazines.

In other Grey’s Anatomy news, apparently the cast of the show is fuming about Kate Walsh getting her own spin-off series, especially star of the show, Ellen Pompeo.

From MSNBC:

“The rest of the cast seemed instantly resentful of [Walsh],” a source told Star. “They each thought they’d be the one chosen to get their own show, and now they’re giving Kate the cold shoulder. Ellen Pompeo seemed particularly peeved because she felt that, as the star, she should have been consulted.”

Controversy just keeps pilin’ on for this show.

Last time rumors got about this show's cast they turned out to be very true so I can believe they'd resent her for that.

Everyone has their egos because Grey's is the most watched show on American television right now. If anyone deserves their own show I think it should be Chandra Wilson or Sandra Oh. Possibly Kathrine Heigl.

And speaking of her, did you happen to catch those rumors about her not renewing with the show because they won't increase her pay to the same level of some of her co stars?

Oh my god just cancel the fucking show already.

It's never going to work out, at most it has ONE more season left in it. Hell Season 3 is a large downgrade in quality from the first 2 already.

Ellen Pompeo's pissed because me and everyone I know who watch the show were sad that she DIDN'T die. I can't believe for a show that I enjoy, I hate the title character so much.

I agree with that so much, I can't believe she didn't die last week. Not because I hate her, which I do, but because it's so ridiculous that she did survive.

I was forced to watch the show once the 1st season. What a bunch of ripped off shit from other shows. It's part ER and part General Hospital. And the main actress needs some food! It seems the off screen antics are more interesting than what goes on screen.

I know thank god she's not real, I would've seriously had to reconsider my sexuality all over again!

And, going against the apparent majority, I actually enjoy Meredith's character.

I, like most people I've spoken to, hoped Meredith would die. I've hoped for it all season. I'm still hoping it happens.

WOW.. the cast is upset about Kate Walsh getting her on spin off show. WHO THE FUCK wouldn't get upset. She's not even one of the most "important" characters in this ensemble cast.

The whole entire cast is full of bunch of egos anyway, do you really think they are going to "congratulate" her for getting a new show. Hell there is already one cast member complaining about not getting paid enough... and has ended contract negotiations with ABC.

WTF... Daybreak tanked because ABC didn't even give it a shot. They didn't try different time slots or days to see if it would improve in ratings. Taye Diggs is an amazing talent... there is a reason they are letting him star in another show.

Don't hate on the hotness that is Taye Diggs ;)
