Snack foods are notoriously unhealthy, yet they continue to thrive now, many decades after nutritionists have informed us of their effects.

So, confession is good for the soul.

Whether you are a fit runner, with perfect body fat and bio levels, or a wheezing geezer at 20 stone and a finger always on the remote, tell what your favorite weakness is in the food world.

Is it Red Bull?

Yahoo, Mt. Dew?

A malt or shake at the drive-in?

Funyuns/Pork Rinds/Cheetos/Potato Chips?

Oreos?

Burritos? Donuts? Premium Ice Cream?

Absinthe?

Fast food in general. I jones for taco bell if I haven't had it in a week.

Nothing listed, so far, appeals to me. I don't eat or drink any sort of sweets, and fast food joints (including mini-market crap) are by extreme necessity only - been years.

But, cold sliced pepperoni. I only eat it when it's offered. I won't buy it/have it in the fridge, ever, because I know I won't be able to think about eating anything else. And it's terribly unhealthy stuff - salt, fat, spice, and nondigestible mystery bits.

Taco Bell is a success for a good reason, and advertising is only a part of it.

Pepperoni is a proven recipe for the excessive cravings of many mammals: fat, salt, and protein.

The food stores were pushing snacks like crazy during this pandemic. Little snack packs of chips, cookies and whatever are given two pages in the sale paper.

For me its good homemade quality ice cream....good chocolate. KFC extra crispy breast

I've always loved extra crispy except I resented them not seasoning it the same as their original chicken. I wonder if some of the spices are averse to whatever processing extra crispy undergoes, or if it's simply KFC's marketing choice to ensure they appeal to palates that are not as spice-loving.

I guess you heard Wal-Mart's quarterly earnings were staggering?

A great Brunello on a weeknight.

Cheetos definitely.

Kraft Dinner.

28 year old dark rum.

McDonalds fries.

I don't feel guilty about any of my pleasures. O:)

Foodwise I don't really like sweet stuff, things that are too salty, or fried food. O:)

I gave up caffeine years ago, and haven't had an alcoholic drink for more than six months. O:)

My over-indulgence is eating a bit too much of the foods I love. #-o

Oink.

I go through faces. Hagen Daz vanilla chocolate chip is my favorite. Otherwise, I do change things a bit. Doritos, Cheetos, Plantain chips and lately, crackers with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Martinis, only one in the evening but sometimes I also have a small one later in the evening. By the way we are indulging this weekend. After having my yearly physical, some changes must be made.

Salted Cashew nuts.

Gin.

I just got home from shopping and I bought a 30 oz. jar of salted cashews, first time in years. I plan on mixing it with a snack mix and some sunflowers seeds.

I don't feel guilty about any of my pleasures.

It doesn't sound like you have any cause to, or at least not from the diet. The rest of us are but poor sinners against our health.

I go through phases. Hagen Daz vanilla chocolate chip is my favorite.

I have never bought premium ice cream except as a treat in a cone when at a shop. I love to make very good homomade ice cream myself, and buy good ice cream but not premium.

In the last few months I've made lemon, butter pecan, chocolate coconut, banana peanut butter, and berry.

I have never considered actual food guilty pleasure. Snack's on the other hand are a totally different story!

I like salty snacks, I love Cheetos Puffs, and Utz ripple chips. Got a brand new 30 pack of Pop Secret Homestyle the other day from BJ's! But I can't have Pringles, Cheez-Its or Bugles around me they are way too tempting.

I had candy bar phases as a kid, and once I got sick of one I never wanted to eat it again ever! Candy wise the only thing I will eat now is the occasional Kit-Kat, Reese's Cup, or Twix bar. So happy they brought the cookies and creme back!!!! Under no circumstances am I to be allowed in the vicinity of Reece's Pieces though!!!

Frozen food's wise I still love the Strawberry Shortcake, and Chocolate Eclair bars, and generally once every year or two I indulge and get an Edwards Lemon Meringue, or Key Lime Pie!

Reeses Pieces make me a little crazy too. Just SOOOO much better than M&M's.

I once loved to make cheesecake, but rarely order it any more when dining out. I will say the general quality of cheesecake has increased over my lifetime, and many restaurants now offer very fine NY style that are as good as any at home.

Once, I made a pumpkin cheesecake for Thanksgiving, and I honestly think it was one of the best I ever made. And it was a beautiful color.

I guy the "King Size" Snickers bar, which is actually just two double size bite size ... I give my son one after he finishes his supper, and I eat the other!

I used to like salty potato chips and nuts, but I now need to lower my sodium intake for health reasons.

In high school, my band director sometimes at an entire box of ding dongs and a quart of milk for breakfast. Yeah, he died in his late 40's I think.

Chicken and dumplings, goulash made with ground beef and elbow macaroni, buttermilk biscuits, thick sllices of homemade white bread toasted with butter. In other words, good Midwestern comfort food. I don't feel guilty about it.
