Obama hope for the big push in October comes in the way of a movie showing his "gutsy call" in deciding to kill Osama. (My dog would have made the same decision to kill the bastard who orchestrated the mass murder of over 3000 Americans).

The Obama Administration reportedly released the names of the Navy Seals, gave secret information for making of the movie, and has a hand in "shaping" the movie. I wonder if Obama will be listed as the executive producer ... we'll know in October. There's bound to be a special screening for the top bundlers and Hollywood's elite.

I guess the difference being "box office sales/political contributions" v. 6,000 American troops dead (tens of thousands more maimed), and a 3 Trillion Dollar deficit for two wars that was kept off of the books, while Wall Street Gambled away America's future only to blame your successor.

Bush43 had two terms as President and he couldn't manage to kill Osama, and Obama did it in his third year as President.

I don't call it "gutzy" I call it brilliant. ;)
 
well there are pretenders and there are Presidents. Obama got Osama, Bush got us into war, into debt, into recession. Osama wasnt even in Iraq, Afganistan, or under the presidents desk as Bush jokingly said about the wherabouts of WMD's.

you must have a pretty low opinion of Obama voters that they would dare support a competent person for the job.

Maybe he should get all his campaign cash from a single billionaire sugar daddy.... Sheldon Adelson, Peter Thiel, Foster Friess or Frank VanderSloot like any good republican would.

Yuppers. And it was a white grinnin' and kickin' good ol' boy who ruined the economy and almost drove the country off a cliff.

When Barack Obama was elected someone said "They had to send in a black man to clean up a white man's mess again". That's still true. He's still cleaning up the white man's mess and they're still trying to keep him from cleaning up the mess.

Thugs like Limbaugh and a lot of other soft racists wanted the first black president to fail. If he succeeds, the old white boys club is forever denied the total stranglehold on the Executive Branch.

The fact that with all the qualities both real and imagined that the right wing reactionaries have used over the last 4 years, he's the one who took the big chance. And won.

Not to worry though. If Hillary had been elected and was serving successfully and had ordered a grenade to be put into Osama's mouth, the haters would have been just as envious and upset.

It matters to a lot of people. Besides, it makes it more convenient to portray him as an outsider..... as someone "not like us" when you talk about his race.

Rareboy, there was no "big chance". Anyone would have wanted to get rid of Osama (correct spelling). A president makes many "gutzy calls" during his presidency -- just can't see that this would be classified as one of those.

Here's an example of a "gutzy calls" and someone taking a "big chance" ...

Obama compromises with republicans to put together a healthcare program that really works, says what it is going to do, reducing the price of insurance and providing health care to people that need it. The economy isn't held hostage for several years wondering what's really in the bill, so it prospers and people go back to work. More tax revenue is collected reducing the deficit. More people are working so they are saving more and buying more, causing the economy to grow.

Using a military victory to make a hollywood movie about one's self is not a gutzy move .... it's true narcissism.

Nothing wrong with patting yourself on the back when you've done something right, especially in election year. Ideally, a campaign is exactly that anyway, when they don't make it about how bad the other guy is.
 
Let's be completely honest. Is there anybody here that would have agonized over busting a cap into this piece of shit? Personally, I'd have insisted on being there.
