Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

^^^^ Right-Harry was supposed to wake up in 'King's Cross' (after Voldy killed the horcrux inside Harry) NAKED!!!!!!

exactly...

instead all we got was some exposed torso when they were putting on new clothes after the dragon-dive.

i still maintain that months on end camping on the run would demand some type of handjob relief at the very least...

'Harry Potter' Becomes Top-Grossing Franchise

by Brandon Gray
July 21, 2011

Worldwide Update: On Wednesday, Deathly Hallows Part 2 racked up another $35.2 million, bringing its foreign haul to $425.3 million. Add in domestic, and it's made $640.2 million worldwide, surpassing Fast Five to become the third highest-grossing movie of 2011 so far. That also means the final Potter struck the $600 million worldwide mark in record time. It took just eight days, compared to Transformers: Dark of the Moon's 11-day run and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides's 12-day run. As a whole, the Harry Potter franchise heralded another milestone: it hit the $7 billion mark. It's been the top-grossing franchise globally since the sixth movie, Half-Blood Prince.

Domestic Report: On Wednesday, Harry Potter edged out Star Wars to become the top-grossing franchise of all time. The eight Potter movies have accumulated $2.223 billion, compared to $2.218 billion for Star Wars. They're also the only two franchises to have crossed the $2 billion mark, though James Bond and Batman would join the party when adjusted for ticket price inflation.

Star Wars still trumps Potter in terms of estimated attendance, more than doubling the wizard wunderkind. It even maintains most of that margin when its re-releases are factored out.

I think they should do movies like music sales- it's not income, but number of sales....I saw Star Wars for $2.00 when it came out and Hallows last week for $12.00....of course movies today are going to gross more...on ticket sales alone- I think Gone with the Wind is still number 1......

I think you're right.

I absolutely loveeeeee this song. It really says something that I've only seen this movie once, yet I was humming this the other day and thinking about how DRAMATIC it is when they use this music when HRH are running though the battle, looking at all the devastation.
So after listening to that song again, I just noticed that it's a more dramatic and slower-tempo version of the track "Statues." Not that it's an issue, though. I think slowing down the tempo really added to the emotion of the scene, as you mentioned.

Lily's Theme is freaking great too. Haunting, but great.

The movie felt rushed. Some Scenes felt like they dragged too much, the action was lacking *Magic*, didnt felt any character development, Dialogue that felt pushed and some comic moments weren't that funny. Anti Climatic ending and the changes made on the movie made me almost fall asleep.

Overrated movie.

It is not suppose to be a stand alone film. All of these films are pretty useless without the other ones. Very few sequels are good without the previous instalments being fresh on your mind. There are a few exceptions like LOR: Return of the King and The Empire Strikes Back, but while this last Potter film is the shortest it is also the epic conclusion and it is forced to do a lot of things in a very short amount of time and I think it pulls it off. At least for the most part.

My criticism would have been to make the movie a tad bit longer. I know it was by no means short, but trying to tell the ending to a fantastic novel almost never has the same effect on a big screen.

Thats just the way it is...
