Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer

I am SO excited. I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd.

I think every movie has been at least good, which is a good record for being 5 films in. Goblet of Fire is probably my least favorite if only because it's like watching a play instead of a movie, the way the lines are delivered (but come on that dragon was fucking impressive special effects). And the casting is really good. Yeah actually I think Daniel Radcliffe is kinda weak, but everyone else is pretty fantastic. Snape, Minerva, Bellatrix, Hagrid, Ron, and sometimes Hermoine are all awesome, as was Umbridge. The ONLY time I was seriously put off by the new Dumbledore is in Goblet of Fire when he actually gets almost violent with Harry, grabbing him by the shoulders pretty roughly asking if he put his name in the goblet. Other than that he is decent, he seems wise but he definitely lacks the gentleness of Richard Harris's Dumbledore.

The wise thing to do though would have been to be a little patient and wait til the entire series was written before making the movies and being unsure of what plot elements would be critical to the series as a whole, and then keep a consistent visual style. Oddly enough the first two were the most faithful to the books but the visual style was too disney looking and much brighter than the following films. Then again those movies were a lot lighter in tone too, but even the 3rd, 4th, and 5th films all differ stylistically. But making money was too important to be patient I guess.

I give it like 25 years before the series is completely remade.

I never read the books even though I should.

But I've enjoyed the movies. But this looks epic. I'm still pissed off that Harry's Godfather died though

I so wanna see this.

I bet it's gonna make me orgasm over the next movie though. And I'll be like "NOOO I GOTTA WAIT ANOTHER YEAR. DAMNIT"

Well at least they have already been filming some of the next one. We'll still have to wait longer but maybe the extra time will make it better?

I thought they said since they delayed it the next one would be out next year or close to that. Instead of 2-3 years. But I am not sure. Something like that on the main site last year.

I went to the movie theater yesterday, and they finally had posters up for the new film. And since zero-hour is almost upon us, I thought maybe the new posters would be available online. They are, and I absolutely love them.
