Has being "gay" become trendy among heterosexuals?

I'm just wondering because I've been noticing a lot more grab-assing, kissing and ball-squeezing between heterosexual males than I used to. I also notice how much more heterosexual males seem to be enjoy being around other males than with their wives and girlfriends. I met this guy Rick and his wife at a breeder barbecue a couple of weeks ago. I don't see this any differently then guys who do "gay" things in the lockerroom with other guys..but they do it with the assumption that nobody is gay. If they found out, its usually much different.

I think we have gotten to the point, in some parts of the world, and on some individual levels, where people are so comfortable with a gay friend..that they are comfortable doing a lot of things..but dont take that to mean they want to fuck.

I don't think he was making a play. I just met the guy and I think a lot of inhibitions were lost because we were drinking. Maybe guys are just more welcome to it, because I don't think he could've pulled that off with a girl. I would've love to have done what you suggested.

Why do so many gay men think that straight men want them? If a guy is sexually attracted to another guy, he is not heterosexual. To my knowledge, straight men don't have sex with gay men. Closeted gay/bi men do. The "gay for pay" thing might be an exception but I question that, too.

I didn't intend for the thread to be about straight guys being attracted to gay guys, but more about straight guys wanting to be or behave like gay guys. With that I mean the air-fucking, ball-squeezing, kissing, etc, not only between a gay and straight guy, but between 2 straight guys. Gay play that goes on between 2 straight guys as a sort of bonding ritual, which in the eyes of a gay guy looks, well...gay.

Right, it's not anything new, but lately I've been noticing the innocent smacking taken to new extremes.
