Has South Park gone too far? South Park Mocks Steve Irwin's Death...

Maybe because, Matt & Trey were trying to also point out, that he (Steve) didn't belong in Hell, but wanted to still cause an outrage around the Globe, which they have successfully done!

Haha, this article is retarded. South Park has already done waaaay more disturbing and horrible things than this.

South Park mocks everything and everyone. I don't think it has gone too far in this instance. It's extremely bad taste, but if you don't like it just turn to another channel.

The southpark people are just whores. They would do anything to sell their show to all the people out there interested in toilet humor and raunchy jokes. I'm surprised they didn't make Irwin screw his kids (and the stingray) after he was dead... sounds like the kind of low brow stuff the SouthPark people like to do anyway.

The SouthPark people have no respect for the dead... I hope they would be equally roasting if a beloved family member got killed or died... they like to dish out their own medicine but can they take it themselves? Doubtful.

being an aussie I can honestly say well probably no it hasn't gone too far.
It just goes to show how famous, well known & liked Steve was. I think if Steve is watching South Park from up there he is probably having a laugh at it himself.
It´s not about Steve, it´s about THEM!

you obviously didn't understand southpark.

apart from that:
he was not seen in hell, just on the party.
and they were not mocking HIM. it was more a joke about people will get dressed as him and other people will be upset because of that.
that you complain no shows how right they are.

I'm willing to bet if they had a famous family member, friend, or even one of them die that they would most certainly make fun of it within a season or two.

But if they did it in 2 months, it just wouldnt be funny, cos no one will be talking about it any more..

Lets just hope none of you, in ur everyday comments, never wish horrible deaths to celebs like Paris Hilton or the like. Cuz when they actually die, would you feel any guilt?

All I can say is, RESPECT to Trey Parker and Matt Stone for reminding us that we in the West can be as irreverent as we damned well please!

People in some countries are not afforded that privilege.

Paris Hilton?

Here's the clip:

It's kind of strange, though, it's like they're saying, "Hey, we know this is in bad taste, but we're going to do it anyway..."

Geeh everyone is very upset at the ep. I just downloaded it (stuck in Australia) and thought it was bloody funny.

Guys we were all exchanging steve jokes within days of his death.

But to me that is the Aussie way, he was a larakin, I am sure he would be chucking away, and good on him for scoring an invite to Satan's party!
