After doing a lil self reflection on my time here.. I kinda realized that JUB changed me a bit..

In the past, pre-jub, I was really only interested in these white pretty boys you know the type with the athletic body, hairless, blah blah blah. Don't get me wrong, I still like that type from time to time (If I don't think they look a bit like a girl without any body hair..)

Then I joined here and looked at some of the galleries.. I guess I wasn't expecting my tastes to expand? Now I like guys with some body, and I'm open to more races such as black, indian, arab, and asians.. I've found others really hot too..

So I credit JUB on broadening my horizons. Just thought it was interesting.

I've changed big time. I'm starting to see who I am. I was very confused before JUB. I was depressed.

My life has changed for the better since joining.

I'm getting more comfortable being gay.. Like the idea of doing it with a guy used to kinda scare me.. But now I'm like all.. If they all enjoy it.. Can't be that bad right? I've become more open to trying new and different things, as long as its safe I would say.

and more tolerant of different types of lifestyles.. Like the party boy or slutty kind.. Not to say that anyone is..

Me too, Stacy. I was pretty insecure about myself before I made my first post. But now I'm coo. I'm coo.

JUB helped me to come out. It has made me many friends I wouldn't know otherwise. I'm thankful for all I have gained from JUB. So, I guess I would say it has changed me.

I still haven't met Mr. Right, but I think I'm better equipped to take that journey now.

I have been out for a while so not a problem. I think that now since joining
JUB I love a lot more people. That is such a good thing.
Thank you all for being there.

to those that came out..

would you date someone that was closeted?

Yup big time!

I had never exchanged anything with gays before. Met a few at work and did get involved in a discrimination case once, and it was to protect the rights of a gay man. His human rights were more important to me than his orientation, in the case however.

My knowledge of gay life went from 5/100 to 90/100 after I joined JUB and started reading the posts.

Yup, it changed me big time!

Like many others have said, jub has helped/is helping me come out... which is awesome.

I learned about so many different products and practices, most of which made my jaw drop. I knew I was naive and sheltered, but I never knew how much...nor did I have the appreciation for being naive that I have now.

I've become more comfortable with who I am, and I have a better sense of what I want to do in life. Now I just need to get it all done. I'll keep y'all posted :D

Only someone who was willing to put up with me being totally open at times.

I found out about the existence of the word "cunt". Thank you, JUB. I know what to call my she-devil bitch shit lecturer now.

My reactions to both of those questions are different now than when I first found JUB.

Living in a place where it's still possible to meet Matt Shepard's fate, there's not much chance to inter act even with people who are okay with guys who like guys. Without JUB... things would have been really rough. Having the guys here to chat with has helped me keep up my courage, and a lot of other things.

Thanks, JUB!

dunno..maybe i still havent told a single living soul in my close acquaintances that i am not straight...well maybe i have a little more understanding of the community
