If a girl starts hitting on me (which is rare), I'll just flat out tell her I'm gay.
And if a guy starts hitting on me that I'm not interested, I'll either say I'm not interested or just say I'm taken.
A couple of years ago this girl was hitting on me at my job.
I told her she was barking up the wrong tree. She didn't get it.
I told her I don't swing that way. Still didn't get it.
I finally said "I'm gay". She left disappointed.
To the OP: You never once hinted to the fact that you were gay? Checked out guys in front of her? Talked about guys to her?
If you were as close and inseparable as you claimed to have been, don't you think telling her you were gay was kinda important?
