^OMG this is nuts. I cant believe gay people's obsession with any moderately attractive straight guys.

This show is completely ridiculous. A guy his age that looks average making money with an exclusively female clientele.

I could not disagree with you more.
Thomas Jane may be as you said "moderately attractive" but on him it works really well.He drips with sexuality, in addition to being charming and funny.

The premise of the show totaly works, I can see how a lot of women would be more attracted to a guy who looks like him than some cookie cutter run of the mill pretty boy.
 
^Well I disagree with that. If women wanted to DATE someone they might go for someone like that. But for sex women would go for a guy who is much younger and hotter. Women are at their sexual peak in their 30s/40s. My friends and I get hit on, sometimes shamelessly, all the time by older women. Some of my friends have even fucked them. I dont think most women would pay for Tom Jane.

I think the character is strangely written and the sex scnes are way too silly and unsexy. Some gay people are just so easily impressed with any kinda of straight or straight acting guy in a sex scene. Maybe that's why all the "gay-4-pay" straight porns stars are so popular even if the sex is a snooze and theyre not that attractive.

I agree it has really gotten better each week as we get to know the characters more, Looks like next week we may see an interesting twist about the son.
 
So it turns out the kid is gay, he has not had sex with his friend but wants to.
I never cared for the kids, but at lest the son has some potental for future shows, and I like the way his sister supports his gay lifestyle.

That's my favourite scene as well. I kind of find funny how that horny lawyer's wife said in suggestive way like - "I scratch your back and you scratch mine." As for the possibility of Thomas doing full frontal, I don't think that's gonna happen unless he use prosthetic c*ck or some sort of visual effects. He, obviously, not hung. There will be a season two, HBO has yet to announce the starting date.
Meanwhile in New Zealand the show has been given a nice ad campaign with a huge 20x10 foot bill board. The idea was to make the billboard look 'Hung' too.
The billboard, which was made from polystyrene mounted on plywood backing board. A heat-shrinking white film was used over the entire face of the billboard to create the straining effect, and vinyl graphics were added for the type.

I look forward to seing that billboard in Times Square soon;)

I'm looking forward to this show coming back. The show was a bit dull but it picked up as the storyline progressed through season one.

Show's still a bit on the slow side, but I actually like Thomas' "middle-aged average looking" appeal. I mean, I wouldn't PAY for it, but still...

Actually, I meant that I wouldn't pay for sex in general. Considering what you'd find succesfully selling their wares on 5th & Main in real-life(ever watch any of those "Pimps & Ho's" specials on HBO?), it's not unbelievable that someone would pay to sleep with Ray.
