The last what, minute of this episode I was like

This show just keeps getting better and better. I haven't commented too much on it in a couple weeks, but I will in the next couple days (stupid work / traveling  )

Something tells me Holly is evil. Like Maryann-bitch evil. You know what? Are they any fucking humans in Bon Temps? Sookie is probably from the race of psychic people who make very bad decisions, Bill a vampire, Sam a shifter, Crystal the walking meth-turd.... I think we can expect Arlene coming out as a squid monster from Planet 9 in the later episodes.

I was half expecting Bill to dance gaily in the hippie dream sequence with that English lady. "Dance, Bill, dance!"

I think Sam was trying to tell Tommy off by beating up Crystal's dad after he called Sam a "pussy". I don't think there is much to be read in that outburst.

Tommy's ass was the best part of this episode. Followed by Arlene's nervous breakdown, Russell as a newscaster, and the rest of the scenes without Crystal in it.

The "emotional" side of Pam's relationship with Eric wasn't done very well. Two amazing actors with great chemistry but their "emotional" interaction didn't do much for me.

The most ultimate cheesy thing about this episode was probably the Robocop-like Vampire Authority Guards. More ridiculous than serious and scary.

Nan and her same-sex thigh biting! :luv:

Obviously they werent gonna kill off Eric, but having Russell forget about killing Eric and all of a sudden wanting to attack the American Vampire League is just too damn stupid and makes no sense.

He did go to kill off Eric. He was on the roof of Fangtasia and he mistakenly thought the VL guards were for Eric so he went with the sabotage of the league plan.

Agree. Arlene is a great character to watch. She's always helped to ground the show a little bit in between all the fantasy and violence.

I didn't get much of a connection b/w Pam and Eric either. She's playing her part deliciously well but it doesn't lend itself to being emotional at all. I think she was kinda boxed into that problem.

Immediately, when I saw the slut in the limo, I thought "Who wouldn't have pegged Nan as a lesbian?!" lol

My thoughts exactly. She just screams evil. That bitch is up to something; I know it.

Actually, I thought that had to do with Sam trying to prove himself. In episode 3, when the Mickens visit Sam @ Merlotte's, Tommy tells Sam that if he throws a punch at Joe Lee for being drunk then he's definitely one of them. And/or it could be related to Tommy sarcastically calling him dad. Just my two cents.

Tommy's ass was the best part of this episode.

Yes, yes it was.

Um i think sookie is some sort of fairies or angel or something... and it seems like crystal is some sort of were animal... not wolves obviousily.. maybe something new?

I don't know...

I like the show, been watching since the beginning, but last night's episode had me walking away with the impression that this might have been the cheesiest thing ever shown on television.

I figured Russell would get the last few seconds of screen time, but I saw him going straight after Nan, or perhaps finding 'the authority'...Not what ended up happening.

I like Russell's character, but this was just...too over the top.

In the first season, despite all the vampires and shapeshifters, they tried to keep it grounded in a sense of realism and reality...And all that has officially been tossed out the window.

I think the series needs to get 'grounded' again, otherwise it's going to risk ruining itself.

I thought it was the best episode of the season... Sure, some parts were campy, but I didn't think it was too cheesy (definitely not the right word) at all. Except maybe the fairy-world scenes.

The ending makes perfect sense. I don't see what is unrealistic about it. Russell would do that, given what he thinks is going on. And I can see why Sookie's sister would be worried about other people like Sookie... fairies or whatever.

Also, I don't think the meth addicts are shifters. You saw the thing drinking coyote blood last episode? Definitely not shifters - they must be goblins or chuobacabras or something.

Tommy's ass alone is enough to keep me hooked.

Russell doing what he did is stupid. He's 3,000 years old. Why would he assume anything? Plus a few minutes after he got there the VPL left, leaving Eric completely vulnerable. To go along with logic he would still make killing Eric is top priority, not what ended up happenning. It's fuckin dumb.

The truth is the is like one of the gayest shows ever, and prolly the first time theyve objectified and sexualized men as much as women. A large part of the appeal is the male nudity. Look how crazy people get over any time a guy shows his ass. It is a very sexy show.

But for those reasons people tend to make excuses for bad (not always bad) writing and horrible inconsistencies. I think writers take that for granted. "We don't need things to make sense just show Tommy's ass."

This last episode was really good to me! We got to see Tommy's sexy ass *|*! At one point I thought he was gonna invite Sam for a threesome with the girl, but that would have been too good to be true lol. Besides they should address that gay dream Sam had before in some way. Him and his brother together would be just too hot!

I'm glad Lafayette has a boyfriend now, but their kissing scenes suck. Thank goodness Tara's psycho vamp stocker is finally dead. I knew he was coming back because his head wasn't severed. He was such a creepy, scary mother fucker lol. Poor Tara is never gonna be the same and will always hate vampires.

I thought Crystal Beth and her family were werewolves and if they are not then what do they change into?

Russel is crazy as fuck lol. I guess he must be the oldest vampire in the world and so nobody is strong enough to touch him. In the Anne Rice vampire chronicles, a younger vampire could only get stronger with time or by drinking an older vamp's blood, so I wonder if that can work for Eric?

I have a question about Russel's accent: If he is 3000 years old, shouldn't he be talking with some European accent or wherever he's from? This southern accent should have only been around for a few hundred years and I would think he would still talk like wherever he was from .

Russell scared the Hell outa me last night, I loved that

A lot of you have commneted on Tommy's cute ass, tight firm and so fuckable. He also showed a bt of pubic hair on tha that tight bod

The guy who plays Tommy has come a long way from Prison Break lol. And do we even have to ask if Holly is evil? of course she is, this show is too fucked up to have any normal nice character in it lol.

Though this season of True Blood still has three episodes to go, I’ve already got scoopage on the next one: Long story short, it might as well be titled "Season of the Witch!"

Series creator Alan Ball reveals that he’ll be introducing Hallow Stonebrook, the were-sorceress from Charlaine Harris’ fourth Sookie novel, Dead to the World. Preferring to refer to the character as a necromancer, the boss man says she’s “actually a medium. She communicates with the dead, and she’s interested in developing further powers.”

In the book, Hallow casts a spell on Eric, so um, not sure what more desirable power there can be. Anyway, she’s described as a tall, trim brunette—or, to me, Juliet Landau, Buffy’s nutso Drusilla. But who do you see in the role? Below’s your casting couch. Have fun! (Additional reporting by Tim Stack)
