HBO's "True Blood" [merged]

Don't care that it's ending. I was actually happy when I heard. Especially considering the show is extremely homophobic. They're ok with homoeroticism, but not with a gay guy having sex.. WTF?! EVERYONE is getting laid EXCEPT Lafayette! Tara was rolling around in the bed with her lesbian girlfriend. When did we see Lafayette doing that with Jesus? OH YEAH, NEVER! Great representation that. Lesbians get to have sex, but gay men do not. Typical double standard. Fucking hypocritical.

I think there were two vamp dudes fucking in the facility this season.

I tend to agree. It bothered me once again that a show cast a coming out of the closet nut job church freak gay member as weak, wormy, traitor, sissy, sneaky, selfish/self centered asshole. That would be Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian).
Makes me think how Hollywood hasn't changed that much. Its called the Doctor Smith syndrome (Lost in Space).
Then you had Russel Edgington bitchy husband prodigy filled with every hetro gay cliche , Talbot.
How about having a strong moral character portrayed by a gay man for once? Someone who is considered a hero instead of a pos scum bag? Or at least as a powerful mainstream character as Eric, Sam, Alcide or Bill.
Lafayette has gone nowhere in the story other then downhill secondary cast member, where as Tara has excelled becoming a more powerful part and not cooking catfish at the bar.

Lesbians have been prime viewing on the movie channels for a long time, and for some reason it just is more acceptable for guys to get off to two gals going at it than two guys. Almost every gay sex act, well, the few you see here is either implied, awkwardly done, or capitalizes like mentioned on gay stereotypes. God we get enough raw girl on girl stuff it's pathetic that a show originated by a gay guy just like Hollywood does treats gay characters like second class citizens... would be nice if an Alcide would get it on rough and hot with another guy and it actually means something to the storyline, for example. Nothing wrong with lesbian sex but why the fuck can't two guys going at it without an ulterior motive that cheapens or minimizes the meaningfulness of the act? Gay or bi guys who aren't afraid to show their passion for man flesh... in 2013 for fuck's sake is that too much to ask?:grrr:

You're right. They were being studied while one rapidly fucked the other. The scientist seated with the clipboard had a grimace on his face. Of course. The glimpse of this was so brief I had to rewind the DVR to get any kind of look at it. Of course.

Most male on male sexuality in U.S. must be related to something extremely negative. It must be some kind of unwritten Hollywood rule. Either torture or pain or murder must be involved and usually the characters end up alone and miserable while they are killed off or commit suicide.

If any other minority were portrayed so relentlessly with stereotypes there would be outrage. But not us. We're the last remaining scape goats.

I'm not exactly glad next season will be the finale. Although I agree the series took a turn for the absurd after season two, I enjoy this summertime supernatural drama. I'll miss it.

The Final Season could have hope......... 10 episodes, 7 seasons, best decision.

My idea: Bring True Blood back to it's roots.

Vampires will never die, and also won't co-exist alongside humans peacefully....ever..... but Bon Temp represents the struggle between human vs. non human over the 'True Blood' world.

A new serial killer targets Bon Temp.... and all species are targeted.... fairies, vamps, humans...... (forget werewolves, they are out). As Sookie and the 'gang' struggle to find the killer, they discover the killer is much more powerful than a serial killer ... but is an entity that holds the power to determining the future of humans and vamps coexisting period, and that all the victims are part of an equation of which 'race' wins in the end. So is the killer on the 'Vamp' or human side?

Well, that simply one idea (and this would be solved by episode 5, i hope).

Any others for a good final season?

Jason owes a lot of money to a loan shark and goes gay for pay. We get to watch him bottom.

The End.

Re: True Blood

Sookie Stakhouse is a dirty SLUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRR I had some problems with my PC lately so I basically had to wait until yesterday to be able to watch the sixth season of the show (which I love(D)) Adn F*** I'm so disappointed I could kill the scenarist of this shit !!!!! I just needed to get that out of my chest....

i like true blood also but sometimes these shows get old, they bring gay characters but they just tease just like supernatural etc e3tc.

stop teasing and lets see the fucking

Still one episode to go for me but I am glad the show is ending. It's just lost something but this season's surprise for me is Warlow I thought I'd hate him but I actually really like him, he is written well not too Louis from Interview moany but you feel for him. Steve, Jason, Pam and Eric are all still good but again they can only do so much. Hopefully they kill off Bill/Lilith in the season final but I doubt it.

You'll see... For me Warlo was a good character too but so FUCKING disappointed in the end I'm so glad there is only one season left... I was thinking about making a spin off of Eric's life with Godric before he meets this filthy little piece of dirty tiny gross stinking shit... Sookie is loosing all her interest and they didn't think about making something to keep us pending till the end (of the seventh). I mean 'm only gonna watch the last one for I want to know how it ends but without the feeling that I need to see it. I was a huge fan and now I'm only a lambda follower....

I just watch hoping against hope it will somehow return to it's glorious state but I know people will hate me for this but Lafayette should have died, the actor put so much into him it would have been a shock, now they do not know what to do with him. Bill needed to go he had run his course plain and simple. Sophie Ann was a much more interesting character and she was killed off to allow bill to stay. Jason really needed a supernatural story, they kind of hinted that his sexual ability could have been due to Fairy blood yet apparently it skipped a gene. He was bitten by werepanthers yet failed to turn. The cast is too big and people get side lined because of it. Still have to watch the final though lol.

Irish, in the TV show's mythos weres of all kinds are genetic, not transferred by a bite. (I understand it's different in the books.) The werepanthers thought they could turn Jason by bites and other things, but they aren't exactly the most knowledgeable people in the show! They were simply wrong about how it worked.

I just got through all the seasons. It was good enough for me to watch a few episodes at a time. I wish there was more action throughout it though. It was a pretty good show anyways.

I think it would have gave him more depth than brainless sex addict. The Fairy think could have easily been added though.

Why did they kill most of the fairies .
they should of kept Giles Matthey

And why couldn't they keep Robert Kazinsky. now no one can turn sookie . He should have agreed to date her and then got married.

his ass :sex:

I just hope they take elements from the final book and end it with Eric and Sookie married. I have only read book one which was OK but it is clearly derived for woman so I wouldn't read the rest but I found a lot of good elements in that one book, I saw that they were able to transfer that to screen but as the seasons went on and bigger changes occurred it did lose a lot of what made it good. Also its a bore to see every second character as gay. Had they have done Eric's maker right we would have had him and Cluade who seemed like Captain Jack from Torchwood but no because the gays watched it they had to keep Lafayette, turn Tara gay etc instead of just allowing us to relate to characters in other ways.

Also really that whole sudden turn for Warlow was just plain shit!!!!!

Can't wait for the final season to start sad to see it go though.
