This episode was the best! Godric is kinda cute and I would love to see Eric bottom for him lol:sex: I think he would do anything for Godric. Godric is probably going to die though because he is just too nice.

I knew that guy from the Fellowship had a bomb strapped to him as soon as he walked in. The vampires should have grabbed him as soon as he announced that. I'm sure Eric and Bill are going to survive but I don't know about the rest.

I'm just ready for Bill and Sookie to get back home to whoop Maryann's ass(!)! I don't know how because she's some kind of immortal.

I thought they did a passable scene out of the compound raid. The vamps didn't destroy it as it's told in the books (nor kill anybody for that matter), but it was a good scene nonetheless.

What's totally weird is the way Bill stands up to Lorena. You see the way Eric behaves in front of Godric? That's the way Bill is supposed to behave towards Lorena. Nothing is supposed to matter most for a vampire than his maker. Bill caring more for Sookie (he's a jealous fucknut) than for Lorena just goes against every vampire rule.

Can't wait for Sookie dumping Bill and going for Eric (Bill's getting jealous! Bill's getting jealous! :twisted:)

I haven't seen the last part of the episode, I'll watch it tonight, and see what the fuss about the bomb is about.

Not really. They showed the struggle Bill had with getting away from his maker in the first place.

Someone was talking how in the books, a lot of vampires leave their maker after 2 or 3 years, and only those vampires with a gift stay with their makers longer. Bill didn't want to stay with Lorena, but she pretty much refused to let him go until he threatened to take his life.

Godric told Eric from the beginning they would be close, and that they would travel the world together and be brothers, and friends, and blah blah.

Eric is submissive to his maker because he truly cares for his maker, and well...Godric is one powerful bitch.

Just to clarify one more time. Godric doesn't die in the attack.

I could spoil next episode for you and explain the scene Godric will be in, but meh.
 
Apparently Eric isn't as close to Godric as he thinks if he hasn't caught on how suicidal Godric is behaving as of late. And maybe I just have no imagination, but what exactly will sacrificing himself do for anyone? If anything it will just cause MORE pandemonium and chaos. And it isn't like he's THE head vampire anyway.

WTF did Bill do with Barry?

I think I'm starting to board the Eric and Sookie train. Now that there are actual semi sparks rather than figments of wishful/hopeful people's imagination.

Which is exactly what happens in book 3 where Lorena summons Bill, and then she kidnaps and almost kill him <<(None of which is in the TV series and I doubt it will ever be, as they've changed that part of the story a lot).
In this case, Pam, is an odd one, since she's Eric's child and she's still with him.

I think Eric is submissive to his maker not because he loves him, or is in love with him, but just because he's his maker, that's just the way it is. Bill in the books is equally submissive to Lorena, but they changed that part for TV ... and had her "release" him.

Pam returned to Eric because Eric called her to him.

She was somewhere else before turning to help run Fangtasia with him.

Not to mention True Blood is starting to get more different from the books as the show goes on.

Episode 209, "I Will Rise Up":

• A wounded Eric plays Sookie for a sucker, to Bill's dismay. Later, Sookie and Jason reflect on their recent adventure, and end up bonding. Blaming Eggs for Tara's bruises and bizarre behavior, Lafayette and Lettie Mae try to figure out a way to pry their kin from Maryann's clutches. Hoyt defends his relationship with Jessica. In Dallas, Eric and the vampires defend their recent actions to Nan Flanagan, and are shocked when Godric decides to take the fall for their PR disaster.

We are all waiting on some homo action with Jason. I think AB is teasing us. Godric seemed a little hot for Jason. Maybe they will hook-up. That would really piss Eric off.
Maybe he will turn him. In the book, Jason becomes a were. That will be cool if he became a vamp instead.

I still hope they bring Gran back as some kind of supe. Maybe, she has been dead too long.

...and the preachers wife...she seduced Jason and blamed it on him and..shot him in the nuts with a paintball. What a bitch! She went from talking so sweet to saying, "Fuck you." and called Sookie "a vampire fucker"!
