HBO's "True Blood" [merged]

Eh... not so stoked for the finale. If anything, I'm glad this season is over.

Can people get over that it's not following the book exactly? So many things have been changed from the book. Lafayette is a hugely popular gay character, there's no need to kill him off just to follow the book.

Fuck me, Sam!

There's a "Coundown to the finale" on at 8:40PM EDT on HBO tonight.

:D

My favorite part was jesus' big reveal.I'm guessing he and lafayette will play a much bigger role in season 4.

I havent 2 shits about Sookie and her petulant childish ways for ages. I dont care where she went. I wish she was gone for good.

It seemed like they need one more episode for the season. Almost nothing was resolved! I expect a cliffhanger or 2 but this was a little ridiculous.

I want to know why Alan Ball is so incapable of delivering a good finale. This is the third season in a row that we've gotten a ho-hum finale where nothing really happened and the cliffhanger was weak. Why?

So, did Sam shoot his brother ?

Is Russell really gone or encased in Carbonite or whatever ?

Is Lafayette doomed to trip forever ?

Is Jesus a good witch or a bad witch ? ( )

Where did Sookie go ?

Who will win the fight between Bill and the Queen ?

Who is Hoyt's mom planning to kill ?

How will Jason take care of the ware-panthers ? (how silly)

Will Jessica marry Hoyt ?

Is Tara's new hair fabulous ?

Will the preacher who is screwing Tara's mom leave his wife ?

Will Rene's demon seed come to fruition ?

Will Andy finally try Vampire blood ?

*sheesh*

That's a lot of questions to ponder until June of '11.

Hmmm I'm hoping Bill dies, Tara never comes back and wouldn't care if Sook did either, in fact I'd like her to take Jason with her... some how I feel like I'm not supposed to be rooting for all the main characters to get written out.

This episode was as smooth as Helen Keller looking for her lost contact in a marble factory.

So many threads, and nothing but split ends.

I agree. I no longer care what happens to these ridiculous characters and plots.

Burnt Russell was still the best acting in the show. I'd love to see him as a waiter at Merlotte's.

Hmmm...not crazy about the finale. This whole Jason storyline is just as dumb as he is.

The whole Sam being a bad boy is stupid. They are acting like he is bi-polar. How can Sam go from being this super nice guy that everyone like to shooting his brother? It just seems he switched real quick.

What a boring finale! They could have shown the fight between Bill and the queen. At least there would have been some action.

Next year better be A LOT better.....need to be enchanted with some of Sookie's family fairie dust because Alan Ball dropped the ball this year...focus on twoor tree storylines and junk the least interesting book situations.Started off intriguing, but too many storylines, too little focus this year, and I wanted so bad for the season to end on with a bigger bang. The season ender dragged everyone down under the cement as Russell and almost Eric(though the Bill/Eric betrayal played great, made laughable though by the awful execution of the pre-game festivities of Bill vs Sophie.Oy.The Vampire Matrix!)

How can Alan Ball who can be SO good just lose it like that?

I am glad others thought it was as lame a finale as I thought it was

We didn't see Tommy get shot, though, he might've shot past him as a warning.
Or, he shot him and some vampire will simply heal him. Preferably, Eric, and he makes Sam give him a blow job for the favor.

They are truly messing up a good story grounding character with Sam. We have more than enough weirdos in Bon Temps without adding Sam to the list.

I dont know get why book purists want to get rid of Lafayette so bad. He is a fan favorite on the TV show, so he stays. Plus his story is better than most. And this is a gay message board. Why do people so desperately want to get rid of the one gay character when there are far more annoying characters to get rid of?

I had Tara previous seasons, but she's finally come into her own.

I'm prolly in the minority but I dont think Sookie and Eric have chemistry and I'm dreading when they get together.
