Health Care to fail

You think I'm making this up? :rotflmao:

Talk about denial.

Believe what you want
Huh? That's what they voted for. That's not my "belief", that's fact.

but that list came DIRECTLY from the Human Rights Campaign, and was part of a list that was generated in 2006. I'd wager they're a fair bit more accurate than you are.

Then you'd be wrong. I personally looked up the voting records of every single person on that list just to show how full of shit you are. If you need me to provide more detail I can give you the date and name of the bill of any of those measures so you can check the votes yourself. That is what they voted for.

Did the HRC say what kind of list this was? Maybe that was a list of any Republican who had ever voted for ANYTHING that could be seen as supporting gays. But it surely wasn't a list of reliably pro-gay politicians.

I'd refer you to the HRC website, seeing as how you can't be reasoned with. ..|

I can be reasoned with. You just haven't displayed any reason in your posts.

You posted a list of Republican politicians that supposedly reflected your view of how "numerous" Republicans were for gay rights.

I showed that your list was a sorry excuse for an argument supporting that notion. Where it came from does not matter to me. Those people with those positions are not what I would consider to be advocates for gay equality.

Since you've appealed to HRC though, if you look up the HRC ratings for most of those people, you will find that they rated most of them below 50%, indicating a less than strongly supportive record on gay rights.

OMG! :bartshock

You QUEENS are cracking me the fuck up!

As if there's any number of Democratic or Republican Congressman or Legislators who truly give one flying rats ass about our issues as members of the LGBT Equality Movement. ](*,)

And y'all are sitting around in this thread attempting to scratch each other's eyes out as if one party is feeding either of us better "scraps" than the other.

:rotflmao:

My point is

Truth is, the Democrats have found a way to pander to our wallets, while the GOP has found a way to make our Grandmother's Hate Us.

If my Republican Grandmother was still alive, I'd buy her a cruise..tell her that I like to suck dick, and that I purchased everything that she ever thought the she "owned," and that I would be the one responsible for putting her ass in her grave because the rest of her "Grand-Children" were more concerned with what they were going to get than providing her with her last wishes.

Doesn't matter, cuz I already did that.

My point?

The OP of this thread couldn't find his ass out of a paper bag, with not only a flashlight and a map, but a GPS as well. ..|

To be fair, if what I posted was uncalled upon here on JUB I'm sure that a support ticket could be posted @ www.jubsupport.com.

Otherwise...like Pat Roberson...STFU!

Applying your methodology here.... what you;re saying is

"I don't care if the country is defenseless, so long as I can marry who I want."
"I don't care if gangs take over our cities, so long as I can visit my partner in the hospital."
"I don't care if our economy goes to hell, so long as my job application gets filed equally with the rest."

To someone with perspective, gay rights are irrelevant -- it's human rights that count. I have never, and will never, support something because it is a matter of "gay rights", but always if it's a matter of human rights.

Very thoughtful and insightful comment. You are a very smart man. I see many things very differently but you always give me lots to consider and sometimes I change my view of things based on what you say and googling subjects and learning things I did not know. I am a man of strong opinions but I am wrong sometimes and people like you help me to see it when that is the case.

Kiss obama's Health care bill goodbye! ha ha !!! we won !!!!(!)

What happens after your gleeful celebration? Are the Republicans going to introduce a bill that offers legitimate healthcare reform? Have they made any effort to alleviate the suffering of millions of Americans who are sick and dying because of a failed health care system we currently have now? I read the Republican House Bill for healthcare. It actually uninsured more Americans than we currently have now.

What was won? Honestly, how do you win for the deaths of more Americans?

What was won is that this probably means we're back at the starting line, instead of behind it by a long ways, which is the situation with the current bill.

Now why can't they start out with a few simple things instead of trying to play God as though they can fix everything at once?

Here's an idea to add to my previous ones:

* make the first $1000 of everyone's medications each year a tax deduction without going through the standard schedule A calculations

And I forgot to say in my earlier post that they way to handle the annual physical and three doctor's visits would be as refundable tax credits. If someone didn't have any way to pay at the time of the visit, the doctor would get the information and issue a voucher to go with the person's taxes, so the doctor would get that much of any refund.

That's a sign that their web site is poorly put together.

well you can search on their site too, I find Google easier to find specific information on a lot of sites though.

Regardless, their information is accurate.
