BLASPHEMY!

I know some such streets and roads where the cobblestones you walk on are ANCIENT and AUTHENTIC. Like the Via Appia Antica through the suburbs of Rome: its cobblestones are still the ones Julius Caesar, Augustus, Saint Paul and Saint Peter travelled on. And you call them a WASTE?

Ancient roads are fine they can keep the cobblestones.
But a lot of footpaths are not ancient and they still use ancient methods which is expensive, ineffective and unreliable therefore waste of time and money.
 
Most Parisian restaurants and Cafes set their tables & chairs on the footpaths.
Why do they want to eat their meals on the footpaths where cars, bus, bikes ... etc create dusts & fall on their food ?

Is it just the show off thing saying look I have money to eat out ?

The crazy thing about Parisian is,
they do NOT want eye contacts when walking. Why not watch while walking or while sitting in the park ?
 
I'm back in Aus now ... hurray ... (!)
My conclusion about European cities = Nothing special.
Australia is better.

About China airport = yuck !!!
The cleaners there full time cleaning BUT they don't clean properly and i didn't notice they use any disinfectant or cleaning product = yuck !!!
