When I lived in Paris, there was a big ad campaign to encourage people to clean up after their dogs. I think it was not money well spent.

Bet they wish they'd done so now! There would have been nothing to draw tely from Australia otherwise.

In the UK most people clean up after their dogs
Mostly I think this is because there are special bins to put it in...

Yeah, that's the UK, not the EU. Does give more meaning to the pronunciation of that acronym though...... EU = ew! Especially when one steps in it......

Tely,While you are in Paris, some of the best the best free city views are can be found on the rooftops of both Galleries Lafayette and Printemps department stores (and Galleries Lafayette has a nice in-store restaurant that isn't fancy, but the food is good, and reasonably priced).

Another great view of the city is from Sacre Cour Cathedral in Montmarte.The neighborhood is also quite a nice walk.

They don't have any job I guess. Should take opportunity to get cheap labour force ?

So many bicycles, so many bicycles riders and so many motor bike riders. I am surprise I have not seen any crashes yet !!!

I saw afew really really dirty homeless men ... looks like they have not showered for months

Are you staying at the legendary Hans Brinker Hostel?

Room was not cleaned AT ALL. Dirty cotton buds, bins not emptied, toilet had crap all over it, bathroom filthy, sheets dirty. Woke up with bed bug bites the next day. The room was awfully stuffy and we could not wait to leave ...

For a business whose entire marketing campaign revolves around being the worst hostel the town has to offer, this place most definitely delivers on its promises. Staff are most definitely not friendly or helpful, hallways and bathrooms in most rooms are perpetually accompanied with a strong scent of sewage, the whole place is not particularly clean
