convo= coffee...pipe (bong) = drugs,

parallel univ--= winging over and righty = twin bro.

does that help?

There is THE whole world of a difference between being dismissed as inarticulate while trying to convey a lot, and being considered unintelligible while attempting to say absolutely nothing.

I don't like the word nigger. Sorry.
I detest prudes... Sorry?

You "don't like the word"... not that you don't approve of hate, or can't stand racists using this or that language to promote their views... you just "don't like the word". That's it. That's all. Yeah, "Sorry" is a fine reason to support an argument.
Then of course, you try to elaborate, what in the world has that first line got to do with the rest?

Are you high again? lol

It just means I do not like that word. There is no hidden message or meaning to what I typed.
That's the point: you consider it perfectly normal to give a meaningless personal feeling as a reason worth considering by other people and you consider it's me the irrational one who is high, because there are thousands or millions of people who don't see any problem in presenting a feeling as a reason, and who abuse of the necessity of having recourse to irrationality to keep rationality sound, by directly substituting the former for the latter.

Oh come on Elvin.....

In the name of that is holy and in matrimony with the husband of

the Year Ellen DeGeneris........thats Belamo. the phoenix bastard

child of Barcelona slums and Bellamy.

Remember?

By the way, better pic is back.

I find it a bit odd that you have decided to focus and wrongly elaborate on what I typed and what it means to me. Maybe you are reading way too much into it?
Maybe you are missing half the meaning of your own words?

You find it perfectly normal to share your opinions. Do you not?
No, because I don't spew opinions, I try to give reasons and elaborate arguments.

And please, dumb it down next time. I have no idea what in Richard Simmons' gay shorts you're talking about. I had to weed through all the bullshit to come up with a reply. lol
Yeah, that's always the problem... and the dumb one is me for keeping hitting his head against a wall.

Yeah, you should know it

By the way, better pic is back.
There you show that you are out of your mind.

A small amount of amusement. Regarding this, Neil Gaiman tweeted earlier today:

It's public domain, so you can make Huck a Klingon if you want, but it's not Mark Twain's book.

... which, of course, has now resulted in #KlingonHuck

yeah it not mark twain book cause in hand of folk no idea be onlys da filler time
or they wanna own it ans invent litruture anals no idea yet da pages be livin same time

anyway so so so so so so so much lot country still got learn ( befores adds up cost of civlization ) ans ables affords word ofs a it before it out reach ans turn back inta da ways of man with out leash

I can't tell what your position is...
He doesn't like the word "nigger", and you'd better be a nigga yourself or at most say try to say it as a joke if you don't want to offend him.
And of course, kids should be protected by all means. That's what God created prudishness for.
If it all does not make any sense to you it's because it doesn't make any, it's all just about elv's feelings, and guts never make any sense, they just poop.

And the word poop is appropriate in this discussion. Because I don't give a shit if you don't like my post or position.

:rotflmao:
You mean I make you costive
That's right, "poop" is always appropriate wherever you are posting anything, be it "opinions" coming out of your guts, or just clips of Luis Miguel

Not for me to decide, pussycat.
He'd rather leave all decision-making to decent and honest Republican American patriots with a strong sense of the right values and how to transmit them to the others.

People need to get over this word. First of all, it's a word that people can use in contexts which are not offensive. Reporting it as part of the speech of racists is one such context. So even if there were any literary ambiguity about the intentions of the author, which there isn't, you could assume he was a racist and still report his speech without being racist, particularly by introducing it in the context of a discussion of racism.

We can read the Molotov Ribbentrop Pact in history class without actually being expected to abide by its principles.

Secondly, you can't hide ugliness from children, you can only explain it and teach them some defences. It's not just foolish to edit the book in this way, it is dangerous to civilised society, and a terrible betrayal of the right of children to learn.

The problem with Huck Finn is that it's not a book for children. Huck is a kid, to be sure, but he's an objectivity-through-innocence narrator. Many of the events in the story are absolutely horrific. Just because a book is ABOUT kids doesn't mean it's FOR kids.

I don't think this book should be taught prior to high school at the earliest. I think high school students can handle the N word without thinking it's acceptable in modern society.
