Hillary Clinton and her presidential-loss, blame game of excluding herself

^ It seems to me that all of the allegations we read about Clinton here are duplicated on a much grander scale by Trump and his family and team, yet we hear no shouts of 'Lock Him Up!!'

Distraction tactics, perhaps?

It depends on what we're moving on from.

There's some serious questions about the election. There's increasing evidence that an enemy of the United States- and of democracy globally- interfered to put an unqualified demagogue in the White House. There's evidence that they are doing the same thing to incite social unrest in the US and in Europe.

We need answers. And we need to know to what extent the Trump campaign was in collusion with Russia to get Trump elected. And we need to know that this will never happen in a future election.

Yes the Russian investigation should go on as that is a serious and ongoing threat, I talking about all the talk about Hillary, she lost and no matter what else went on, she played a part in that defeat. She may have a role to play in the party but that a matter for the Democrats and her. But as a candidate its time to relegate her to history and move on.

I'm rather tired of every discussion I see concerning current political issues cluttered with "but her emails, but Obama was worse..., but Bush was worse..., but Clinton" It is history, why do we spend each presidency reliving the last election and last presidency? Shouldn't we acknowledge that if you have to go to what ifs about the failed candidate you've lost the arguement about the one who won?

^ Wasn't there something about Donald Trump using donations to his own charity for personal purchases and to pay off court judgements against him?

I seem to recall that being in the news, even before the election.
There's ongoing news stories about what ever became of the money that Trump was alleged to have collected on behalf of veterans during the election and of the $107 million that was donated for the inauguration. Apparently, these "campaign events" and re-election fundraising (for 2020!) that Trump has going, as well as the MAGA merchandise that he's selling, are being used to pay the legal fees for Trump and his family (including Donald Jr, who was neither involved officially in his 2016 campaign organization nor involved in any official capacity in the current government).

What happened to Trump's donations to veterans?

Because those who don't learn from the past are damned to repeat it.

It's a grand American tradition that we're skeptical of government and politicians. Skepticism can be healthy.

Looking at the events of the past 9 months, it doesn't matter whether one liked or disliked George W. Bush, Bill Clinton or Obama- none of these previous Presidents had this level of chaos, incompetence or mendacity. There's no rational person that would believe that any previous president or any of the Republican or any Democratic nominees from 2016 would be conducting themselves by the current occupant of the Oval Office.

This. Is. Not. Normal.

We should never get to a point where we believe that 45's conduct is normal or acceptable.

.

One of my fears...we all may be inadvertently normalizing this puppet.....

I worried about this when I saw Sarah Palin ...and I do think she is on par with Trump...no one else though....

This guy is a clear and present danger...period.

If we don't uncover the problem that is Russia...we are screwed forever....and I have no doubt in my mind Trump is in bed with them.
