Well guys, do you shop at (Hollister) ? I use the store in the Bluewater shopping center from time the women are hot that work in this store. . They are have the stereotypical model style looks. However, fat people are not allowed within this store the chairman of the store will not allow it.

Troll thread.

Provide the cite that the Bluewater Hollister store 'Chairman?' won't allow fat people in the store.

What Abercrombie and Bitch do isn't relevant. although it cam back to bite those plastic surgery Frankenmonsters in their butt cheek implants.

Hollister is a town ...went there yesterday actually.

...I didn't count the number of fat people... but I am sure there were some around somewhere! I was at The Farmer's Market...needed some artichokes...then I had dinner at a Hollister restaurant. I didn't notice a lot of fat people at dinner but then again I don't usually pay attention....

The chairman of Hollister did not say they are not allowed in the store, but if you look at the link Miz put up it shows he does not want fat people wearing his companies clothes:

"In case you missed it, Business Insider published a story that contained comments Jeffries originally made in an interview with Salon in 2006 saying he doesn't want "fat" or "not so cool" kids wearing his company's clothes."

Still Miz, I thought you lived in Devon? Going to Bluewater is a crazy drive for shopping - like 4 hours on a good day.

^ The story about him not wanting fat people wearing his clothes is old nooz. Just like the douche at the helm of Lulu Lemon.

They all deserve to have their crap shmata businesses die....which, given the demographic shift and fickleness of the consumer....will happen one day.....

I put that there as I witnessed a rather overweight woman being turned away at the door today what's that about?
I only go there to talk to a hot chick working there.we get on rather well. They have some nice men's clothing as well.

I think they should run some ads with pictures of the town they named their line of clothing after if they are so worried about their image...

It would be good comedy...

It is hilarious really because when I first started noticing HOLLISTER on t-shirts I didn't realize it was a clothing line and I kept wondering WHY all these people were going to Hollister???...and then buying a T Shirt advertising the fact????

Aparenly she never had the image.

What - this one?

http://www.bluewater.co.uk/stores/hollister

I thought you said you lived in Devon? Why are you going all the way to Dartford in the east end of London?

And why did you say 'shopping center' instead of shopping centre?

Oh - and before this thread, I'd never heard of Hollister in my life.

^ Well hopefully the fat cow sues their ass off. It is one thing to tell the world you don't want fat people squeezing themselves into your stupid clothes...entirely another thing to refuse entry to a person based on weight into your store. I can't think that this could be legal in England. It certainly would be a human rights violation in Canada.

I't is rude.

Never underestimate the power of the ignore button. Once one identifies a fake or troll, say bye-bye!

You have to admit though that they keep us all young.

And generate lots of buzz....and posts.

It is only when the gullible get taken in that it becomes less funny. And less fun.

Or when the poster is trying to promote a homophobic/racist/misogynist agenda.

I posted this thread in order to get some info on what you guys think of this kind of discrimination against another human.
Where is the trolling in this.....??????
It's important to recognise the kind of shops we give money too.

It might not be trolling, but do you really think anyone would agree with kicking someone out for being overweight? It is just a dumb thread.

I hope your holiday to north Kent was fun and you saw all the sights that Gravesend has to offer.

I apologize.

But without direct and irrefutable evidence that what you say happened actually happened....it is hard to take this thread seriously.

It smacks of trying to get everyone running after Hollister with pitchforks and torches.

The fact that you refer to the store manager as Chariman demonstrates sloppiness.

Of course we'd all be outraged. As I noted...it would likely be illegal to refuse entry to your store on the basis of weight...so I'm kinda thinkin' you might have just made the whole tale up.

But frankly...I was anticipating you taking the store's side in all of this in the second post you'd make in the thread. The fact that you didn't surprises me.

Because you have pretty much left yourself with zero cred when it comes to posting on JUB.

wish it weren't so...but it is....

All the cool kids are doing it nowdays.

Considering in the "Post Pictures of what you think Jubbers Look Like" thread 90% of your pictures posted are of obese people, do you REALLY think the citizens of JUB are stupid enough to believe you're suddenly concerned with where "fat" people are able to shop for clothing?
