Yeah, I've been wondering that. There hasn't been so much as a decent hug, even when alone.

In the world--
Love = good
Lust = bad

For Craig
JP=love
Sarah=lust

but

JP=man
Sarah=woman

and in the world

man and man = bad
man and woman = good

and so in Craig's

Craig and JP=love=bad
Craig and Sarah=lust=good

ERGO: CONFUSION
 
I don't think Craig lusted for Sarah. I think he genuinely loved her. Over the course of the relationship, his love started to change, and deviate to John Paul. He still loved Sarah, but as in many soaps, she wasn't the one for him...his soulmate, if you will. He still loves her, just not the love she wants and deserves.

The more I think about it, I'm beginning to think Craig isn't gay, or bisexual, but just JP-sexual. By definition, he is bisexual, but I doubt he will attempt anything with any other guy. He'll still be having happy relationships with women, while still wanting John Paul. After reading the Digital Spy interview with Guy, it got me changing my beliefs on what Craig is, and it is really hard to picture Craig with another man.

And yes, it is much confusion. A good confusion though...it shows that the writers achieved what they had hoped, as did Guy.
 
well most experts would disagree with this jp sexual theory. a lot of gay or bisexual men say this at first because they are still so unwilling to be labeled as gay. they are so afraid of the negative stigma. if it was possible for craig to fall in love with jp who is male, obviously it could happen again with another male. and guy doesn't know what he is talking about. he has shown his discomfort with craig's sexuality many times. he is just trying to rationalize it for himself. so he won't be "gay craig from hollyoaks"
 
7 - 8 months left to go before they ride into the sunset with each other.

I can't wait for the reunion to end all reunions!!!

And As You Astutely Observed - JP Needs Assurances And Thus His Insecurity Did Not Allow Him To Take A Chance On Craig Proving His Love And Passion For JP. God I hope you guys who believe a reunion is in their future are right. I personally was gutted by the way this ended between them.
 
it starts witha kiss, ends without a kiss. Sunset ending should be about Craig kissing JP at the airport or Hannah's party and together ride into the sunset :)

If you mean, I think her name is, Kate. He befriends her and decides to move in with her. This is according to the spoilers/rumors anyway. I know he doesn't plan on walking back into the closet just because he decided to end Craig's and his relationship.
 
have you watched James Sutton's and Craig's interviews? :) Both of them talk about the sunset ending, and James even said that he's campaigning for it too. Chris Fountain's interview is hilarious too. James just popped in and kissed him. and Chris said something like you shouldn't go kiss boys since you got a gf and...and he proceeded to apologise to those who think James' gay :)
 
according to craig's brother in today's episode, craig is having a great time in dublin. he's been going to bars and is back with girls.
 
james is far more comfortable with his character on ho than guy is. james speaks of jp as a real person who is in love with, and deserves to be loved by, craig.

guy on the other hand spends many an interview making comments regarding his dislike or discomfort with the story line, and that he is straight. also, you sense that he does not consider jp and craig's relationship to be real or loving, but an obsession, as he refers to it in an interview.

james is an awesome guy, and is obviously very comfortable with his sexuality, cause he has no problems with any of this and is genuinely fond of his character on ho. james was a judge for this years mr gay uk competition. i love how comfortable he is with gay people.

i just hope they bring spike back, cause him and jp had such great chemistry.

i agree every interview i've seen with guy he always needs to remind people he is uncomfortable with his character or remind us that he's straight. i also get the impression that he doesn't like james or doesn't want to seem like they're friends. i could be wrong but he always mentions how he'll mis people but not james. that's sad because even before their affair pretty much all his scenes were with james. their friendship was his main storyline throughout his run on the show.
and no one even cared about the character of craig until he got started with the john paul love triangle.

it is sad, you're right, and truth be told, i wish i hadn't seen/read the interviews with guy cause now i am totally put off by his character in ho, and i'm not sure if i want him and jp riding off into the sunset together if james leaves the series next year, which is how james said he wanted jp to leave, if he does.

it sounds dumb, but now that i know that guy thought of the relationship with jp as an obsession, then i would imagine the only way he would've agreed to go along with the whole story line would be if he believed that is what the writers thought of the relationship too. and that means that it was never meant to be true love, so jp was always going to get hurt, whether he went with craig to dublin now, or when/if he leaves next year.

god, i can't believe i am so taken by this. but it's just dissapointing i suppose, after following that story for so long.
