I wasn't exactly sure where to put this thread, so I placed it here in Hot Topics. My aplogies if I am wrong for doing so.

Now....

I was looking through the gallery pages a few minutes ago and stumbled across this:

Take a close look at the bottom of the wall in some of the lower pics.
Am I seeing things, or is that homophobe Anita Bryant on the album cover looking up between his legs?? The one that says "Mine eyes have seen the glory"? (Boy, talk about creative placement, LOL.) If it is her (which I'm almost 100% positive it is), I wonder if the photographer knows her history with the GLBT community and put her there on purpose as a personal jab at her?

Thoughts, guys?

Speaking of movies, Anita Bryant is one of the few things about "Milk" that made it worth watching. Me giving the finger to the VIP screen a million times, 50 year old ladies looking at me like I was gonna kill someone...
 
A Blast From The Past - Good Old Anita Bryant

Here's something our somewhat older JUB users might appreciate. While I was surfing the net earlier today, I stumbled upon an interesting article. It seems HBO is going to be making a movie about Anita Bryant, the vile GAY HATING BIGOT from the late '70's whose despicable "Save Our Children" campaign equated gay people to child molesters. For those of you who are younger and don't know much about Anita Bryant, let me fill you in. She was a former beauty queen and singer who launched a very high profile, rabidly homophobic, hateful crusade against gay rights. As previously stated she called it the "Save Our Children" crusade. She enlisted the aid of homophobic pigs like Jerry Falwell and other right wing fundamentalist christians to "get the word out" that "those terrible homos are out to get our babies!!" What prompted her anti gay crusade was a civil rights ordinance in Dade County Florida, one of very few and possibly the very first of it's kind, which protected gay people from discrimination in employment and housing. Anita, as some of you will recall, made statements such as "Gays can't reproduce, so they recruit." She really pandered to the despicable stereotype that all gay people are child molesters and if "we, the good christians" of the USA don't take away their civil rights, they'll "convert" our children. Because she was the spokesperson of Florida orange juice, gay activists boycotted Florida orange juice and they soon fired her. After that she couldn't book concerts anymore, she had a very nasty, public divorce and her carreer turned to SHIT! In her later years she was plagued by serious financial woes, civil lawsuits against her and problems with the IRS. Karma proved to be a bigger bitch than she ever was! To top it all off a lot of gay people are very involved with the making of this movie. I see Mariska Hargitay as Anita partly because she sort of looks like her and because she is a very good actress. So weigh in on this folks. Who would you cast as Anita Bryant? Remember, she was in her late 30's to early 40's during this period.

One other thing. Rumor has it that she has a gay son. I don't know if that's true or not, but it seems like it's always the anti-gay biggots who have gay children. If so, I feel sorry for her son. Talk about "Mommie Dearest."

Not only was that bitch the most rabid, hateful anti-gay biggot, she was truly despicable in other ways. She cheated her employees out of thousands, hundreds of thousands of dollars. After cheating them out of all that money, the smug self rightous cunt had the GALL to say as only a fundamentalist christian could, "I forgive them." That's right SHE forgives THEM!! The phony charleton swindler forgives her VICTIMS! As if THEY had done wrong. I have NO SYMPATHY for her. I hope that movie does a real number on her. A real hatchet job. She deserves it! :grrr: :eek:
