Oh I used to know plenty of them. Worked for an upscale developer in Seattle. Most are queens and think going beyond certain geographic boundaries within the city is social suicide. Or even living in certain buildings.

There are white gay neighborhoods in America like Chelsea in NYC, silver lake in Los Angeles, Key West in Florida . I heard the Americans say in West Hollywood there is another neighbourhood for rich white gays. Americans on this board can point out the other rich white gay male spaces....

Shows like Looking on HBO definitely very white gay middle to upper class. I knew Looking and Queer as Folk is about rich white gays.

Back then I was only 21, a little stocky, but looked like 3-4 years younger in a suit and tie. That rented a lot of expensive apartments to guys in their 30's. Not that I got with any on the DL. Wouldn't have been professional Straight people thought I was straight, gay people thought I was gay. I made no comment and was just having fun.

You also see the white gay privilege on YouTube white gay guys like Davey Wavey has like 1 million subscribers yet gay people of colour have a lot less. Tyler Oakley another white gay male who is now super rich. I think he has 5 million subscribers. And there are many more. One youtube channel I like adorkable a gay white guy in his 30s only got less than 4000 subscribers. Another youtube channel I like a young African American gay man Jacob Kohinor I am probably spelling his last name wrong? Anyway, Jacob youtube channel should be getting more views but he is not the young whitw gay guy. The only person of colour I know on youtube with a lot of subscribers is a straight black man Tyrone Mangus. Tyrone is very sexy and cute he has 700,000 subscribers.

How are things in ABQ? I used to live there and loved it but I did not enjoy the high altitude as it made it difficult for me to breathe, and instead of taking a daily jog or daily run I would just walk daily.

No I'm not Dan. I don't remember much about Nancy's sex life, since I was a very young kid when she was around.

There is a broad range of gay activities here. We have a gay men's chorus, a gay and lesbian square dancing group, a gay hiking group or three, a gay happy hour and other activities group, and on and on. And we have a healthy and active LGBT political caucus here.

I've joined several over time but nothing has really appealed to me and I have become inactive in all of them but one and it is grinding down to little more than happy hour, which I don't do.

I really prefer to socialize in mixed groups. I'll keep some contact with gay groups, as I'd like to find someone to date, but it just may not happen for me. I'm recently past being upset by that. I have a good life. I live in community. I enjoy being my age. I'm through apologizing for being unattractive, white, older, carnivorous, or much of anything else.

Albuquerque's crime rate is growing, employment diminishing, and my company is closing here, so change is once again on the horizon. I think I am more calm about it now than ever before. Guess I've matured a few more notches in the last decade, and I'm glad of it. I like changing, and don't want to be the same person I was 30, 20, or 10 years ago.

I can't stand those two dudes. They are apart of the narcissist clan where these guys think they should be famous just for breathing. It's guys like them that set lgbt people back because they basically take advantage of a serious matter and turn it into some shit that it's not supposed to be at all. If they want to be entertainers and all, that's fine but to use a sensitive subject such as discrimination and then use it as a calling card where it's like "look at us. Take a look at our relationship and lives. Give us clicks for money. We are role models for gay people. We are important for some reason". Then on top of that, them basically getting that attention because they are young white men and we all know how racism and prejudice works in favor of guys like them.. then they exemplifying what's wrong with the lgbt community and society for that matter.

These guys contribute nothing. More of just capitalizing and milking their situation for fame which really hurts the cause because they're trying intertwine themselves with it.
