As with most things sexual, the answer may be simply that it feels good. Not necessarily the physical sensation, but the experience of being controlled in some way (for example). I know plenty of men who enjoy the confinement and/or deprivation, with their consent of course. While it's tempting to analyze kinky sex, I wonder if answering "why?" would be all that much easier for vanilla activities. Judging from what I've seen on this board, those answers aren't readily available, and I don't find them all that necessary.

As for my personal attraction, I usually appreciate well-made and well-filled bondage devices of all sorts, but don't have all that much erotic interest in bondage as its own activity. I focus more on the D and S, along with some S and M.
