Are American pheasants different from British pheasants? I see some in the countryside when I'm in a more rural area. We have many birds in the city/suburb where I live, but not pheasants.

Yesterday was a somber occasion, with the funeral of the Queen. It was moving, with all the pomp and circumstance.

That is a nice model train. There is a local model train club here, that meets at the fairgrounds. I always enjoy seeing it once a year when the fair is open.

I'm glad you're getting out and riding your bike. That's great exercise, and especially enjoyable when you can do it in the countryside. I'll try to do more of it when the weather cools down here in Florida in the next couple of months.

Are pheasants the same as quails? I've never been clear on that, though I think they are at least related.

Hi, Araucaria. (*8*) well the funeral is over, and we are getting back to what passes for normal is this country. That’s train strikes, a mini budget on Friday, etc., Anyway, I hope you’ll be able to get out your bike soon. It’s such good aerobic exercise. You get to see the countryside too, and see things which you tend to miss in a car.
Gary has been most helpful, and answered the question about Quails and Pheasants. I wasn’t too sure about them myself, but I am now.
