house or apartment?
I live in a small apartment, with two bedrooms, one living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Nothing fancy, but I like it because it is near downtown and it is very convenient.

My apartment is even smaller. One bedroom, livingroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It's small, but affordable.

run of the mill 3 bedroom, 2 and one half bath center hall colonial on 2 acres....totally burbed out!

when i saw this thread i thought i was going to be trying to convice ya'll it was bigger than yours, what a turn of events.

my apartment is very small. its a studio. a living room bathroom and kitchen, no bedrooms. but the apartments i'm looking at in chicago are both one bedrooms, movin' on up :D

hmmm.....i don't know if i want to answer this one....

working from home, i need more space than most people because my business takes up quite a bit of space: so my home probably cannot be considered small. but it is not huge either. it is between 1500 square feet and 3500 sq feet. my lot is small though, which is fine because property is very expensive in los angeles county and i don't have time to take care of a large lot.

I live in the house I grew up in. Built in 1965. It's a 3 bedroom ranch with 2 baths, half basement (unfinished), half crawl space on a half acre lot. It's 1900 sq. ft. with a 3 car carport. Nothing fancy, but it's home.

1928sqft 4 bed 2 bath ranch style house on a little over an acre lot in the country.
The big trees are no longer there and we have to work on the front landscaping still.

4200 Square Feet with 12 foot ceilings on both of two floors. My living room is 700 Square feet. Have a big dining room and an Art Studio, 3 bathrooms three bedrooms and of course a kitchen and TV room. Wish I knew how to post a picture on here.

My house is quite small - about 850 sq ft - not counting the garage, which is carpeted and usable as a weight room and work area. The house has two bedrooms, a kitchen, hall, one bathroom, and a living room with an attached dining room making an "L" shape. I have a large back yard, which is rare in Venice, and the value of the property is probably based more on the size of the yard than the size of the house. I live on a trendy street not far from the beach.

I have always loved to look at homes and architecture.

I live in a condo. It has two bedrooms, one of which I use as an office, a living room, an efficient kitchen, a dining room, two full baths, a family room, and a garage. It also has a patio with three in the gardens about it that I have planted and maintain. It is all on one level, this to accomadate my partner after knee replacesments a few years ago.
Shep+

1 bedroom, 1 living room, bathroom, kitchen, and hallway, 12 floors up, with a little balcony that gives a great view over more than half of the city. Even though my whole flat is probably smaller than a lot of US kitchens, it seems huge to me because I've spent most of the past ten years living in one-room bedsits. If it was any bigger I wouldn't be able to afford to heat it in the winter.

1200 square feet, second floor Garden apartment with attic, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, efficiency kitchen with dining room and the living room. The attic (since I'm the top floor) spans my entire apartment, effectively giving me another 1200 square feet of space for storage.

I live in a 1000 sq. ft. (approximately) Victorian 4-plex with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a small office space tucked into the bay window. I also have 2 living rooms/parlors that are open to each other and the kitchen and there's a breakfast nook off of the kitchen that I've turned into my daughter's play room.

I share the apartment with a roommate.

My previous apartment was about 250 sq. ft. and I shared it (most of the time) with my girlfriend at the time.

Two bedroom apartment, just over 1,000 sq. ft.

Has a bath and a half and a large patio/garden area.

medium size bedroom, large living room, huge walk-in closet, large bathroom, small entry hall, nice sized dining room, Nice size kitchen.

Fire escape balcony.

HUGE roof.

One side of a 3 bedroom duplex. We even have a garage, with lots of mold but hey it's there. LOL

my house (by "my" i mean my parents) is about 1800sq ft. three bedrooms. two baths. 1 garage. attic. nice deck with gas line for the grill. on 1/3 acre. its kind of small but then again im 6'2".

Interesting thing about it. Some crazy marine guy that lived back when the house was originally built in the 50s built a fallout shelter in it. The coat closet has a removable wall and it has stairs going down under the foundation with a metal door. My parents tell me the room is only 5 feet wide, 8 feet long and 6 feet high. The metal door is pretty much rusted out which kind of sucks. I dont think its possible to replace it, atleast not reasonably cheap.

My parents and I think whoever buys the house will probably tear down the house and build another one cuz thats what most people that are moving into the neighborhood want to do. You just gotta love the 3000+ sq. ft homes on 1/4 acre lots.
