How can I finish the bible?

I am *not* a Christian, though once I was very Catholic--like to the point of wanting to be a priest and praying three rosaries a day; but I still find the Bible fascinating. I have trouble imagining how one can be bored with spiritual texts, even the bronze-age ones.

Is his name realy Pete?

I wouldn't worry about it. Most Christians haven't even read the entire thing.

SPOILER ALERT:

Jesus comes back to life

It's how you get anything done pretty much.

I've read up to Samuel. It took willpower and just reading a few chapters at a time. I think dejavodoo has a great idea if one is really going to read the bible.

I found Leviticus and Deuteronomy pretty boring overall, minus some select stories, so I can understand how it could be boring.

I used the last bible I had to start a fire in my fireplace we were out of kindling.

How utterly childish.

Annoying thread and posts are vacuous drivel.

None of you live the right life anyway so according to what you believe you will face a toasty afterlife.

gggggggggg

Self improvement is a process of learning from ones experience...taking a life time of learning, and implementing life's lessons.

We make our own heaven, or hell according to our choices...what happens afterlife...remains a mystery...

Well if I am managing to get through all the books in the "Game of Thrones" series then I should think that the bible would be easy.

Just sit down and read, simple as that.

How? Just like any large/thick book, get the movie version. You'll be done in 3 hours.

We know you're a troll and we know you're bad at it. Please give up.

Is there something to know about you? —other than you work in a shop and your brain lives in Cartoon-Land?

It is interesting that you take a jab at me for something that wasn't directed towards you. There is plenty to know about me, nothing that I'd shared with the likes of you since you're the kind of anonymous weasel that likes to use that kind of information to make passive aggressive insults to members of the board. 'Cause to be quite honest that is all that there is to know about you and it is quite pathetic and sad, whether or not you're troll or just a miserable person that gets enjoyment out of doing that.

Paris is our god.

You remind me of a guy I went on a date with... who dragged me to the library by my house so he could see if Nicole Ritchie's book was there.

If you just heard a loud groan, that was me, throwing up.
