Not waiting for the train, if you can hear/see it just wait it out. I know it sucks, especially if there are 100+cars thats 3 mins out of your life after all. Just wait :)
 
Two serious driving erros together -- be happy you're alive.

The first was thinking you can beat the train: if you have to think in terms of "beating" it, DON'T! If it isn't absolutely 110% obvious that you have no worries at all, NEVER try to beat out a train -- the odds of some other factor entering in are small, but the possible pay-off (thousands of tons of steel crashing down on you) is too large to play with. :eek:
The second was dashing over a blind hill! Dude, whatever the speed limit may say, the speed for going over a hill you can't see beyond is, for safety's sake, 20mph or less. #-o

I don't see you out on the forums much and I have a feeling that you'd like more contact from the guys around here. So I'd like to suggest that you find your favorite forums and leave a few posts and comments and get to know some of the guys better.

It doesn't have to interfere with your schoolwork. You can have a lot of fun with PMs that you shoot back and forth only when you have time.

So what are your interests besides rollercoasters? Which are your favorite forums around here?

Yay for you!

The only thing I could call good in my life right now is that I may actually get a pipeline for my volunteer (environmental) project finished before it rains so hard I'd have to wait till next summer.
