No.

I always forget it in the car.

Kidding!
I find purses ill-suited to the male aesthetic I usually enjoy. And I find them totally contradictory to the male pragmatism I insist on.

Even if I were a woman, I wouldn't carry a purse. Who needs to carry all that shit around anyway? If it doesn't fit in my wallet or my phone I don't need it.

I have a wallet that I carry in my right back pocket. My keys and any coins will go into my right front pocket. My cell phone goes into my left front pocket.

I have a fanny pack and a small gym bag that I use if I am going to the nudist camp.

The only time I carry a bag is when I have a lot of books or papers with me, which is quite often. Otherwise I can fit everything into my pockets.

The bag I use is called a 'despatch bag' but I don't really know what that means. It has a strap but I don't use it. I don't like using backpacks or other bags with straps because they annoy me. I keep the strap tucked into one of the compartments and carry it under my arm.

It has lots of different sections that I use. Two are full of books, papers and files. Then I have a section where I keep pens, phones and stuff like that. In the front section I keep a small umbrella and a water bottle.

I think this is the bag I use but mine doesn't have the tag on the side or the strap (I took them off or hid them away)

It was designed by a gay guy (Jasper Conran) but I don't think it makes me look like a woman or whatever. I don't care though because it does what I need it to do.

I only carry a bag if I'm traveling or if I need my laptop. It's a laptop carrying bag.

Strangely, young male Moroccans are the main purse bearers here in the Netherlands (and I don't mean away from old ladies).

Plenty of UofA students have either the messanger bag, or the laptop bag.

Which U of A do you mean? I live in Edmonton and I don't see that very often at all, so I assume you don't mean here...

Tuscon is in the state of Arizona, which is where MikeyLove is located.

I have one of these in brown:

They're smallish messenger bags and I use them to carry my sketchbooks and pens/pencils. I carry a backpack if I need to carry more.

I don't really give a fuck if someone thinks they're effeminate.

I voted yes but then I realized I am not even sure if what I carry is technically a purse lol. I got it from H&M and it looks kind of like a duffel bag except smaller and more sophisticated looking, I also tend to carry it like one. I don't really like back packs because I always found it a nuisance to take on and off, especially because I bus to school, though I do find it slightly more comfortable. I also don't really like the way I look carrying one (yes I am superficial). The bag I carry comes with a strap but it puts too much weight on my shoulder so I took it off and just carry it by the handles now. I keep my laptop, charger, water bottle, my lunch in a tupperwear type container, umbrella, sunglasses, gum, pen, pencil, my keys, and my i-clicker for class. Usually I will have course related stuff in there as well like a textbook, work book, or a course package. Also if I get hot I can put my sweater in there, so it's really useful for school, but other than that when I go out I keep my wallet and phone on me which is all I really need then.

Here's a pic of me with it that I took like a month ago.

It looks more murse than purse to me BrownBoi89. I can definitely see how it would be useful though.

I wear a running Pouch (Spibelt) its easy to hide you can't tell if I'm wearing one i have my ipod and cell phone in it.

I only wear a backpack for school

Anytime I go to Atlanta, at least around the gay friendly areas you tend to always spot a couple guys with a feminine purse and/or wearing high heals. Its mostly black men that you see around nice shopping malls. Not being racist, I just have yet to see a Caucasian male or Hispanic male walking around with heels or a purse.

I think its pretty cool that they have the balls to actually walk out in daylight like that, I don't find anything wrong with it but I'm sure they get stares.

If I've got more to take around with me than my keys, wallet and cell phone, I carry a backpack. If someone wants to call it my "purse", they're more than welcome to.

Lex

This.

I'd hate to carry something in 1 hand all the time anyway. I hate umbrellas for the same reason. I'd rather get wet.

The 'man bag' is very popular. Every guy at my uni wears one. Straight or gay. They look cool and they don't look effeminate at all, IMO.
