Hi guys, I'm curious to find out how many sexual partners straight guys, bi guys, and gay guys had this year and during their lifetime? Because I'm not aware of any scientific study that gives an estimate of how many sex partners gay guys have per year and during their lifetime compared to straight guys an bi guys.

If you're gonna answer state whether you're straight, bi or gay and then the number of partners this year and total so far (age would also help to determine averages)

Care to enlighten the world on your sexual exploits in terms of numbers? Go!
 
This year: 1.

Lifetime: 1, plus some awkward fooling around with a couple of people.

Lifetime i think 8 people? two guys we messed around off and on and 2012 was a very good sex year

I feel like a slut seeing such low numbers :lol: If I'm not mistaken, according to one scientific study reported by Time, for straight people: women have 9 sexual partners in their entire lifetime while men have 17 on average (Do correct me if I'm wrong, I can't recall the issue anymore. It was posted either early this year or last year, I can't remember exactly anymore.) I don't know what the averages are for gay guys because there has never been a scientific survey to determine it thus far.

When I considered myself straight, I had only 1 partner.

In 2013: 90 conservatively
lifetime: close to 300 (past 10 years)

Maybe because I'm in NYC? I know some guys here who hit 100/year and has clocked 500+ already and they're less than 30y.o. never mind the 30+ y.o.

We need a bigger sample size. Five people is not enough to draw statistical trend lines.

Well well well.......................... To many to be able t count exactly about 20 or so... Always safe though ! ;) Oh and before you even ask yes I'm talking about this year only... So lifetime ??? I kind of a real slut so it's like as I have a sexual active life since I'm 12 and I'm 27 now so it's been 15 years of sex with to many partners to count each years with an average of 20 by year (even if between 12 and 15 I was kind of quiet and I didn't sleep with men but only my brother's friends) 15x20=300 but it is far from the reality...... I'd say over 500... actually I can't fucking know... I think I'm a sex addict.

You should have know that you are not alone a long time ago living in Brooklyn ! Between us, it's full of guys like us in Paris... One last thing, I've seen so many dicks that past 15 years, I believe I can stop having sex right now and in forty years I would still have an average above the average.....

Lifetime (25 years): 3

2 were "repeat customers" and the third was a friend of a friend who I had a brief oral encounter with and haven't seen since although we keep in touch online.

There was a 4th guy who mostly just wanted to get naked and jerk each other off. There was no penetration and even the jerking off part went badly so I'm really not going to count that.

For you guys that put up the big numbers-How often do you see the same guy twice or for a long while? It seems the excitement is in the new hook-up. Do you you talk to the people much or have an objective of finding a regular partner. Not being judgmental, just curious about the psychology involved because it is so different from mine. I could keep a shrink busy myself :) My criteria are too limiting to find many guys.
