i'm a Quebecer. When i was young, i was taught the Canadian national anthem, but in french. It used to be sung at hockey games. Now they sing it all in english, except for 2 sentences in french.

Since i do not feel Canadian one bit, it's not really my national anthem anyways. And my feeling is also that National anthems do not belong in sporting events.

Keep politics and sports seperate.

which has four stanzas.
I know and can sing them all.
I also do a dozen or so others,
including several in other languages.

I have always found it to be just a wee bit ironic that the American National Anthem tune is an old English drinking song (To Anachreon in Heaven).
