Hypocritical Democrats - The Call to Violence

Hoffa is right, they're sons of bitches. Roger Ailes is a son of a bitch. They're actually worse.... they're Nazis. Fox is Nazi propaganda.

Ah, you and your Nazi Tourettes, Bob ;)

So a thread about the violent and vitriolic rhetoric from the far-left... And what do you know, we actually have a prime example of it right here! Thanks, Bob.

So what have we learned? If you support Obama you can say and get away with anything you want.

Remember when Democratic Congressman Mike Capuano told union thugs to "Get bloody"

I agree, hyperbolic rhetoric is not very professional and befitting of a man of his position. He's not advocating violence, but he certainly does make himself sound like a bit of an asshole, Jack. So, are we going to get the same acknowledgement from you when the "other side" says something similar?

Listen, the ball is in Obama's court. If he in any way suggests that language was inappropriate, fine he's been consistent. If not, then no I don't see any reason to castigate others for doing the same thing.

We had a labor leader in NJ behave in much the same way recently. He compared what our governor and legislature were doing to Nazi Germany. See for yourself.
http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=/&gl=US#/watch?v=5YDrhHWgzzM

He called the governor Hitler and the two democrat leaders of the assembly and senate his generals. The assemblyman who spoke after him, made it very clear that while they supported the union position, they did not support that hateful kind of speech. That's the way it should be done.

If you are incapable of discerning the difference between one of the highly intelligent founding fathers of this country and a retarded profane ape of a union leader, sir, you have my deepest sympathies. ..|

Fancy words don't mean shit.
Here many call a nasty cockroach a "palmetto bug" because it sounds more educated and pretty than saying I have cockroaches all around my house.

Here some people will call a Norwegian grey rat a "fruit rat" because it makes them sound less ghetto and more sophisticate.

Words are words and you can decorate there meaning and hide behind the founding fathers but that doesn't change a thing.
You don't get a pass playing coward hiding behind Thomas Jefferson.

I clearly get the intent, and you clearly made the intent clear with your signature. Don't pull that patriot bullshit on me it doesn't fly.

You got your flag pin on your lapel??? Don't you leave home without it now:wave:

Hey Laika, you didn't answer the question I posed to you in post #40. Does this mean you agree with me that Republicans have nothing to run on in 2012, except appeals to ignorance, lies, distortions and fanatical anti-Obama rhetoric?

You won't get an answer from him. All he knows how to do is change the subject, avoid the topic and spread lies. Classic internet troll.

ON TOPIC:

Fox lies, you believe!

You have the biggest hardon for Fox News.

I watch almost all the channels. Evidently Media Matters and you have never heard of showing longer and shorter clips of news events.

I'm sure your pals at Media Maters - who declared they were out to get Fox News - have never showed parts of a news story.

The hypocrite title stays ... you just proved it.

This was nothing more than Fox Propaganda.

James Hoffa's speech was edited by Fox then aired. It was started by Ed Henry. The mindless Grechen Carlson decried Hoffa is advocating violence. His speech was altered by the editing.

Springer, you've been pwned.

Shame on you for spreading lies.

Oh really, Laika? How many times have we asked you Conservative JUBers to identify Republican policies and ideas that you believe will improve the economy and put the country on the right track, which were met by complete silence? Too many to count at this point.

But I'll ask again. What affirmative ideas and policies are any Republicans running on that you believe will create jobs and improve the economy? We all know they are running against Obama and can say what it is about them they oppose. What positive policies do they have with which you agree?

I invite all of you conservative JUBers to respond. Prove you aren't just FOX News/tea bagging zombies.

Let's not nasty. I won't condone anyone killing anyone for politics in the USA. I'm sorry that you evidently do.

Your answer:

1. Reduce the business tax rate. Corporations in the USA pay one the highest rates in the world.

2. Eliminate almost all exemptions from the tax code.

3. Revamp the health care bill. It did nothing to control costs and will eventually suffocate the country with debt.

4. Go back to a previous budget year ... say, 2008. No more auto increases every year.

5. Erase most of the executive orders that created the mountain of new regulations since Obama became President.

6. Pass a budget -- the Senate refuses to look at the budget passed by the House. Democrats have not passed a budget for 2 years.

Springer, admit you are wrong. My God, you're amusing! It's obvious you haven't checked the provided links.

You know you're been pwned. ..|

Regarding post #50: now you're desperate to chance the subject. Pathetic.

I read your two blogs -- they are not news. Agenda driven.

Never read blogs for news Bob. They are opinion.

You've changed the subject TWICE in this very thread. Once to Rand Paul, second to Sarah Palin.

"There’s going to be an election in ’12, and maybe the answer is, we wipe these people out."

Another civil quote by Mr. Hoffa.

So you're denying Fox doctored the videos?

Give up Springer. ;)

And don't you mean never believe Fox for news? They are opinion.

God it's fun to watch you squirm.....

This thread is a microcosm of the political problem we are witnessing in the usa. If the same vitriolic and profane rhetoric by Hoffa was giving before a republican presidential event the roles of the posters here would be reversed. The left would be outrage and the right would be deflecting. There can be no consensus on an obvious issue. The obvious issue is this was not a proper way to introduce the POTUS, it demeans the office.

Hey real sorry about your roach and rat issues. We just call them for what they are in my neck of the woods. We'll be getting stinkbugs again as soon as the weather cools down again. Maybe one of your neighbors could come up with a real fancy name for them?

But I see you still aren't getting it, so let me help you out. You are correct, words mean things. So, let's compare some words, OK?

First, let's look at Jefferson. Pretty plain and to the point. A warning that if the government infringes upon our freedom, we have a right to overthrow them by force including arms. OK, you with me so far?

Now fast forward to 2011. We have a number of politicians on both sides demand "civility". Except when they address then other side of the aisle, then they get to be bat shit crazy. But when they are being addressed, you must be civil towards them or be called to task for doing so. So, the demand for "civility" doesn't really mean what it would seem to. And of course, if you didn't hear it, it simply never happened and you can simply not respond, as Obama has chosen to do.

Now did Jefferson ever suggest a need for civility and then ignore his own suggestion? No, he said what he meant and meant what he said. That concept is known as another fancy word called "integrity"which is about as rare as hen's teeth nowadays.Integrity was one of the reasons Jefferson was a great man. Today's garden slugs we have running things could learn a thing or two from Jefferson, assuming they posses sufficient mental faculties to grasp what he says.

OK, Fox News and other new organizations used varying lengths of the speech that the Hoffa gave. They did not repurpose the speech or give new meaning.

Do you want to see an entire speech every time someone is quoted? I didn't see the entire speech -- did you? Looks like MSNBC, CNN, and everyone else edited it too.

There's a reason for editing video and text. There isn't enough room to show it every time and no one will read or watch it.

You guys are being extremely petty.

I guess you've done your job and refocused the the thread. Congratulations, you've done it again.

None of the righties addressed the point. To wit:

1. Did or did not Fox News edit the speech?
2. Did this edit change the essence of the speech?

If so, there can be only one conclusion: Fox News disseminated raw propaganda with the explicit intent to deceive.

Guys, I cannot see how you can wiggle out of this.

^Yep, Johann.... they're still trying to wiggle out of it.

This has now become demented. Give up Springer.](*,)

I hope the mods close this epic fail of a thread.

I guess the truth hurts you Bob.

You didn't even read my post.

You just seem to hate.

I think the President gains nothing as Hoffa supporters would vote for him anyway

moderates will find his words distasteful and the Pres. allowing them to stand sorta weak

and the VP talking about the "attack on labor" not too bright either

as regular moderate folks - non union folks - are paying the bills for the money grubbing Hoffa-ites

who don't want labor supported but rather their pockets lined

hoffa is a goon

and obama is showing poor judgement here

which seems to be par for the course

Jack buddy, you're lying to yourself.

Now think: what separates an opinion piece from raw propaganda? A conscious effort to deceive.

What about Jack Springer's opening statement in this thread? That was an opinion piece. Jack Springer didn't know all the facts.

What about Fox's editing?

Jack Springer, that is raw propaganda, because their editing made it sound as if he were calling for assassination, when he did not.

(takes sip of coffee)

Raw propaganda is new to our once-great republic. We have slipped from the Fairness Doctrine to Fox News.

No wonder I ache with nostalgia for Nixon.

Let's hang it up Johann. There ain't nothing that will make him admit he's wrong. He's too embarrassed to do so, and is sidestepping. ;)

His squirming was entertaining but is now annoying. Let's wait for his next ridiculous fact-free thread to engage.

...the money grubbing Hoffa-ites

who don't want labor supported but rather their pockets lined

International Brotherhood of Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa Jr.

Would the opposite of this topic be "Hypocritical Republicans: The Call to Peace"?
