Quite a while. We were doing well last night. She even sat on my foot. Now today she acts like I'm going to skin and roast her.

One of my Nephews and his girlfriend lured a very petite juvenile black and white female into their apartment with food. She was dumpster diving outside. Extremely skiddish but she never refused the food. She wont let anyone pet her. She hisses and shows her teeth.

Fast forward a few months and she still don't wanna be touched. But last week I was able to put my index finger in the middle of her head for a half of second scratch.She closed her eyes loving it and then attacked my hand with a little chomp. I was warned.

They made her....her own little refuge in a closet under a stairwell with her own bed and lots of toys.

She swats toys around a bit but she will stay near the closet. But they love her

He looks a bit grumpy

She is coming around. She lets me pet her now and shows me her belly when she lies down or plays, which is a sign of trust. Today we work on her getting used to me being down on the floor at her level. If that goes well, I may let her have a little look-see around the rest of the apartment.
