It is a paperback English mystery published in 1933, shipped from a bookstore in London.

It isn't that it smells mouldy or mildewy....but when I read it in bed before sleep, my sinuses immediately fill up and my eyes start to water.

So in order to finish the book....I have resorted to a mask and goggles.

Does anyone else suffer from allergies to old paper and book spores?

Thankfully not, i love the smell of old books, well apart from the cigarette smell.

I'm glad I've never suffered from that, since my bedroom is filled with old books.

I have a lot of old cookbooks that can make me sneeze sometimes.

Book? Sis nobody likes a smart girl, did you check out those youtube makeup tutorials I sent you?

It wasn't an allergy, but my copy of The Murder of Roger Ackroyd had a really unpleasant smell to it when it arrived. It was genuinely distracting until odor fatigue kicked in, but it was a struggle for me to get to that point.

Sometimes tablets can be preferable.

This book was not improving my mind....only to lull me to sleep. The tutorials get me so revved up that before I know it, it is sunrise and I've only completed my evening 'look'.

Just be mindful sis, remember that one night I went out without my face properly beat? It will be immortalized forever on the interwebbz (and on file at the Chicago Police Department)

You should join Telstra over in the corner looking at your pop-up books and leave the intelligent conversations to the adults.
