"I Don't Believe In Gay Marriage"

Re: "I Don't Believe In Gay Marriage"

IYes. And...?

I didn't mean to suggest that you weren't smart enough to know that. You'd obviously figured that out before you even posted. Some of us aren't so quick on the uptake, and I needed to sort through it to see that that's what was happening. It was me thinking out loud, not attempting to tell you. I'm sorry if itcame across as condescending.

The other day I heard straight guys talking and one guy said

"what's gotten into him?"

And the other guy said "a dick, because he's a faggot"

Just thought I'd share since we're talking about ignorance

As for marriage, I'm against love in general tbh

The contrast in your post has me on the floor. DYING. Between the joke the straight guy said and then the "I'm against love" was enough for me.

Then that Britney gif sent me over the edge.

Post of 2012 tbqh.

lately I've been wondering if marriage as a whole isn't discriminatory towards single people and if the government should really be involved with encouraging people to couple up at all.

So less pro-gay-marriage, and more anti-straight-marriage? Or anti-marriage, period? Where instead of gays being encouraged to couple up, all people shouldn't be encouraged (but not discouraged) from coupling?

That's an interesting take, worth mulling over.

thankyou

wen elk stop ans look at ya real hard it cause big bear behind ya!

I don't believe in str8 marriage at all. Marriage is evil. But as long as str8 marriage exists, it MUST MUS MUST MUST MUST MUST exist for gay guys.

Prolly salty no one is beating down his door to propose, tbh.

I don't believe in 'gay marriage' - I just believe in 'marriage'... ;)

Interestingly, here in the UK in a recent poll, less than 40% of GAY men and women think that gay marriage should be a priority in the current economic climate, and feel that the government should be concentrating on getting the country back on it's feet first.

I find that there are 3 types of guys like this.

1) very young and not yet ever have a meaningful long term relationship but hopefully will mature to see the the error of their ways even if they are not lucky enough to have a fulfilling relationship they will have friends who do, or grow older to understand whats good enough for a equal citizen in their country should be equal for all because there are no freaks.

2) The non-critical thinker, the mello-yello toad. Civil unions are fine but I never want what hetros have. Thats absurd. Yeah you just keep that thought and wear your blue hanky in the right pocket you dinosaur. Equal rights are equal for all and there is no chance that marriage in the USA will be degraded to "civil union" for straights therefore rather you want it or not if its the wording of the land its good enough for all, nothing less. And nothing less with regards to all those benefits marrieds get that committed gays who pay taxes with a higher flexible income then most straight couples enjoy but are denied on the return.

..When my man died I couldn't get the social security death benefit of a huge $235.00 bucks to help bury him, because we weren't married. We did not count......I got no problem with paying real estate tax for schools for kids I don't want and will never have I see the progress and reason for it, its fine with me. Yet I am denied the same rights with my lover and partner and I ain't settling for a fucking wordage of civil unions.
We had improved our home far superior to all the fucking straights in my low rent district and making the hood better, we were good neighbors and yet I couldn't get that little bit of shit when he died that a straight trailer park bitch could get after being married for a fucking month......................

3) the bitter old queen, really nelly guys or just so fucking screwed in the head~~~ who all is lost for and its like talking on the politics forum with a right winger here, fucking useless.

Isn't giving every one the same rights also getting the country back on it's feet.

Illogical to think that to keep denying rights to a group of people is not helping the country.

pete, didn't you see the London Riots last year? Blatant theft and thuggery in the streets. What about the Bradford Incest Situations. Britain has a thousand more issues than the middle-class homosexuals and their comfortable middle-class aspirations

Some eggheads will always choose the morally wrong standpoint of a topic just to, "create a debate" on the subject, a popular technique used by overeducated snots. Where I come from, equal rights is not open to debate.

thank you for your permission ..| do you have some type of newsletter I could follow?

I think that you might have gotten that backward. And here I was thinking I made myself pretty clear.

I do like Vulgar Newcomer's post, though.

So, uh, which number would you say that you most closely resemble?

Perhaps he does not believe in whatever instills marriage. Either government or God, if you will. Perhaps he feels that just being with someone is enough. Next time, do a better job at eaves dropping so we get a fuller story.

well, he's probably upset at the fact that by the time he's allowed to get married, he might not be able to enjoy it because he's too old or might be dead by then. i don't blame him for feeling like that. it's like the prime of your life is gone and your chances of finding someone to be with in a long term relationship in your 60s is slim to none.

please marry ans no put lot politicins ans multinatioanls mediical media ans shrinks out job in da cold hard streets of da nightttttt
ans be ins service ta da ways till ya drop dead

anyway folk need ya little luv childs fa wars ons da books so get fuckin

thankyou

At this point in my life I think gay marriage is pointless and meaningless may be one day I might change my view but kudos to those who are fighting for that right and wanting it.

^It certainly would've been my place to interject if he's speaking loudly against my rights.

GTFO of here, if I had a seat near him in that restaurant, I would've let a bitch know. But the idea of walking in there just to argue with him seemed a bit extra.

Right. 'Cause just sitting and arguing random loudmouths is always perfectly acceptable.

Makes sense to me. They're just asking for it, I'd say.
