yes...there are more species of bacteria in the mouth, but they exist there so that more harmful ones do not take hold. in the rectum, many coliform bacteria exist that are dangerous if injested. example, Escheria coli, which you may know as E. coli.

despite the facts i have just presented, i have not heard of any guys getting sick from these bacteria from having anal sex, so there must be some kind of cleanliness standard being observed that makes it "safe".
