Like others have already said, you have to experience it before you can really speak on it, not to say I understand it myself. It's the equivalent of gays/straight people attacking people who are bisexual. I've been told I'm selfish, I've been told I'm "not being true" to myself, I've been told I'm trying to conform...the list goes on.

If it's entirely possible for a dude or a female to come out liking the P-word opposite to the one their supposed to like, then I'd assume it's entirely possible for a person to feel more like one sex, even if they were born another. The true test of self-esteem comes with whether you are gonna listen to your heart and instincts, or worry about what everyone else will say if you do it.

So it's like what you dealt with when you came to terms with your sexuality (if you have) only it goes about three our four more levels passed that.

The reason Transgendered people fall under the GLBT umbrella is because, like Gays - women and men - and Bisexuals, they are searching for an identity and acceptance.

The Wonderful Thing About The GLBT Community Is That It Is Inclusive Regarding Gender Issues. Simply Because Some Str8 Ass Bastard Cannot Understand Our Sexuality Except Through Stereotypes Should Be Of Little Consequence To Any Of Us.

Unfortunately Too Many In The Community Do Care What Str8 Society Thinks. And As A Result Transgendered Individuals Are Shunned For Fear We Gay Men Are Thought Of As Women Trapped In A Man's Body And That If Only We Had The Courage We Would All Cut Off Our Penises And Let Our Womanhood Free.

The reason they put transgender and transsexual with gay men is because they are considered like freaks by lots of people.Mostly straight people.Mostly straight men.

For lots of straight men gay men are considered like freaks.So gay men are not considered normal.This is the reason gay men and transsexual are mixed together.

If someone is classifying you as a tranny (when you clearly aren't) then that reflects more on their ignorance than on you. With time you'll hopefully become secure enough in yourself where you can see that. As to your not understanding the transgendered there's no crime in that. The real sin is not having compassion for them just because you don't want to be associated with them. Their struggle is not too dissimilar from yours. They're included in the LBGT community because the more the society at large accepts gays & lesbians the easier it will be for transgenders and vice versa.

Firstly Cher, I dont remember voting for your ass as the president of gays/lesbians/bisexuals. I wouldnt give you a mop job. Just because TG's/CD's/TV's dont conform to your idea of who should be in the community doesnt make it right. So quit refering to the community as "yours" you selfish asshole. Nobody is classifying you as a Tranny. Nobody will. The straight community knows enough that theres a difference between being gay and being a tranny.

Secondly, I find it ironic how the gay community is always fighting for complete acceptance, yet hypocrits like you fail to accept the Trans community into the group. Oh but wait, you sure do love it when the Trans show it for gay parades and protests dont ya!? Especially because they represent as much as anyone else. Kinda like the days of racial prejudice where typical white americans would not accept african americans into society, yet totally accepted them when they won gold at the olympics or fought for the US in WWII.

Everybody is different and nobody cares that you dont get it. I personally could give two shits that you dont understand. People dont understand you. Alot of people out there dont understand how you could make out and fuck a guy. There are gay people out there that dont understand bisexuals. Should bisexuals be removed from GLBT as well? According to your logic, it would be sensible to do so. What a great community that would be! Then the world would make complete sense wouldnt it?

Trans people are appropriately in the LGBT community. They dont conform to the "normal" lifestyle of sex and sexuality. Just like a married bi male, who has never had sex with another guy, can still consider himself bisexual since he also likes guys. The trans community are on the opposite side of the spectrum to whats considered "straight" sexuality. Men are supposed to act like men, and dress like men. Straight men are also supposed to be sexually attracted to women. Everybody else is classified as not straight - gay, bisexual and transgendered.

I suggest you enroll in sometype of higher education, and if your doing so, stay in school. You need to begin to learn how to problem solve and analyze situations by yourself without resorting to the old logic of yelling shit out to relieve frustrations. You also need to learn how to consider the other side of the spectrum before casting your vote. You logic and maturity have got a long way to go. Until then, quit being a douchebag.
