I got my Flu Shot.

I get them every year. The only complication I've ever gotten is a sore arm. I get it because I'm around the public a lot so I'm exposed to a lot of viruses. And I HATE being sick!!!

I got it in my shoulder and I didn't even cry. :)

Did you get yours?

Yes, got mine last week. I work in the health care field so I get them every year at work.

I never get a flu shot because I don't feel it's necessary for me. I'm sure I'll regret it when I get the flu this season.

i got mine in early october

Absolutely not! Everytime I took a flu shot, I ended up with the flu. For the past 3 years I have not taken a flu shot and have never been sick...not even a cold. I asked my doctor about this and he said it depends from person to person and each individual's immune system. There are also simple precautions that you can take like:

Don't let other people use your telephone (or cell phone) if you can help it. Telephones are notorious for spreading colds and flu.

Wash your hands often and keep your hands away from your face.

Avoid crowds of people, especially indoors. That's not always easy or even practical. That means bars and malls.

No. It's a waste of time and money unless you are old, diabetic or have spazzy lungs.

I had them twice in the past and twice did I get the flu not 3 days after getting the shot. So fuck it, they suck.

I'm getting my first ever flu shot on Friday. My sister's undergoing chemotherapy, and I can't risk catching the flu and passing it on to her.

I've gotten mine too. The word in my part of the world is that they're more readily available this year than they were last year.

I had mine a couple of weeks ago. I have HIV so it is always a wise precaution.

Never had any problem after the jab. It affects different people different ways I guess

I got mine in the middle of October, since I to work at a hospital, and with the public, its a good idea. A nice nurse came around with a little cart, and gave us who wrok in the cafe our shots. We didn't even have to go find her!!

Never had it as an adult. Never catch the flu. Now that I've said that, I've probably jinxed myself for this flu season.

I see lots of your guys have gotten one this year. ..| I hate needles too so I certainly sympathize with the guys who don't want to get poked. But seriously, its only a brief jab and its over.

A lot of people get seriously ill with the flu. A lot of people miss work because of the flu. So I like to get it not only to have a better chance of avoiding the flu myself, but also to be one less person carrying it around the city spreading it to more vulnerable people.

I like Orlandodude's advice:
Don't let other people use your telephone (or cell phone) if you can help it. Telephones are notorious for spreading colds and flu.

Wash your hands often and keep your hands away from your face.

Avoid crowds of people, especially indoors. That's not always easy or even practical. That means bars and malls.

next week. We ran out.. shocking. But will have more next week and I'll get it then. I get it every year. And afraid of needles? Why? They're so small and come on, they don't really hurt.

No, I'm a young man, I don't need it yet.
