Now I'm not bashing straight guys, because a lot of them are my really good Judies, but these guys just cannot dress!

I know I'm not the only one who has noticed this trend with mostly straight guys who wear those gaudy shirts with a skull and cross bow. The worst are the ones with metalic design with angel wings in the back. If you can't think of what I'm talking about just think of how those douche bags from Jersey Shore dress.

Don't you ever wanna just give your straight friends makeovers.

There a difference between the way straight guys dress and the way guidos dress. I dress like a "straight guy" I guess but no like a guido.

I get accused having all the fashion sense of a straight guy all the time.

I like to point out that just because I'm gay doesn't mean I have a clue about fashion, it's not built-in. A pair of jeans and a t-shirt do me fine.

I'll second that. :=D:

I prefer boardies and a beater in my off time. I save my nice stuff for going out and work.

You could of used a word like --------------------> "don't like "

Instead of hate..

We have enough of that in this world.

And who cares what people are wearing.. you didnt buy it and you are not wearing it..

Or you can wear nothing that's always a good choice (well in most cases anyway)..| I think the suit will looks pretty good on Elvin (!)

Maybe it's time to move out of Staten Island. :D

Even I seem to suck at those.

IMO I look better during the Southern US winters or when swimming.

I'm not going to lie. Those Jersey Shore guys are on the cutting edge of men's fashion. Affliction is a really hot high end boutique brand right now that many designers aspire to.

EDIT: Do they wear Ed Hardy? Hardy uses brighter colors and more cartoonish designs. Both brands make liberal and sophisticated use of dyes.

Affliction is high end boutique? Are you being sarcastic or serious, because I'm not too sure. I'm hoping there is some sarcasm in there because I always thought/heard that Affliction was cheap trash. Same goes for Ed Hardy. I know Ed Hardy isn't too cheap, but the only people I see wearing Ed Hardy are people who look like they are desperately trying to hold onto their youth, i.e. 30-50 year old soccer moms and suburban dads.

If 60 to 100 dollars for a t-shirt is cheap to you (and for a lot of people it is inexpensive), then sure its trash. "Upscale boutique" brand is how Affliction describes itself.

What brands do you wear?

Because there's always a direct correlation between price and quality, or price and good taste...

in a perfect world, that would be a trapper-keeper cover and not a 3-figure shirt. lol.

It actually is a paper folder, according to the blog it was found in Target. It is a collaboration between Ed Hardy and Lisa Frank.

As for this whole fashion fiasco? one part metrosexual media exposure, two parts retail, one part individuality in the disguise of mass consumption.
