I didn't like PE...i was picked on all throughout High School (before I even realized i was gay)

My PE teacher put me in Adaptive PE b/c he knew it'd be easier on me and told everyone I had asthma lol

7th grade gym teacher required us all to strip and shower every day. A few years later he was busted for fondling little boys. From that point on I suspected every gym teacher. It may not have been fair, but you can't tell that to a 14-year-old.

i hate pe!! the boys in the pe doesnt take shower because they dont have" time" to clean them self!

I loved pe when i was in school..and our pe teacher was a bit partial so people o the swim team got special treatment :p

Me, I would have liked PE every period of the day. I was the football quarterback, and a good athlete and looked forward to just being able to exercise and enjoy the time in the gym or out of doors. Most of the other classes were pathetic.

Shep+

We didn't have showers in our school, so our PE consisted of ping pong.

I kid you not!

I still got a C

One year in high school the coach's only requirement was dressing out. So I dressed out every day, sat on the bleachers and did homework. It was the only gym class I ever Aced. A lot of the jocks failed to dress out on some days for whatever reason. They were furious with the coach that I got a better grade than them.

A funny line from Carson Kressley of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"... he said the teams in PE would pick the girl in the IRON LUNG before they would pick him. Too funny.

I didn't like PE, but I still always tried my best. I was always physically awkward, all arms and legs, so I got picked last a lot. Then I figured out what I had to do. I started volunteering every time to be a team captain. I would immediately pick one of the best athletes in the class, followed by one of my "last pick" colleagues. I always got a good mix on my teams, and we won or placed second in every sport we played, plus we always had fun. The highlight senior year was during our last game of flag football, a game I had always despised, and I made the winning touchdown for my team.

It was a valuable lesson the day I stopped sitting around waiting to be picked.

I loved P.E. My cross country coach was
our P.E teacher so all the cross country
guys got special treatment. We were
required to dress and shower every
class but that was actually my favorite part of gym class!!!!!

My P.E. made us run around the track while she yelled at us for not running fast enough. She would sit in her chair, reading love novels. ;)

SHE ???

Wow things have changed since I was in school.

Okay, I didn't really like PE, especially when I had PE right after lunch and we had to run around the track, and I'd get those cramps.

OR.....

Going to PE and your next class was clear across the school campus, so you had to take a quick shower get dressed and make your next class ON TIME.

I disliked PE intensely. Solved that problem by joining the high school band, which counted for PE.

I may have gotten the short end of the stick anyway, especially in football season when the band marched daily, and very vigorously.

PE in college was better. Much better eye candy in the showers and locker rooms. And the teachers assigned the teams, so I escaped the ugly stigma of being chosen last.

Some years, P.E was awesome. . .horseback riding and bowling- - Flag Football...or rather, watching the boys play flag football.

Other years, total hell, dodge ball and soccer.

*Kismet*

P.E. was okay, but the showers were the worst.

I was the only kid in my gym class that was uncut. Lots of stares then because classmates thought MY cock was deformed.

Flet like a freak then, not now!!!

I hated PE. I hated being forced to play sports I didn't want to play and was no good at. I hated the way they treated it like you were in the military. We had to line up on the red line and stand at attention. They called role and when they called your name you took one step forward to the blue line and shouted "Here Sir". This was public school too. It was demeaning. I was fairly good at gymnastics, but sucked at the competitive sports. I never got more than a "C" which you got for showing up and going through the motions. One of the happiest days of my life was the last day of PE. It might have been better if they actually gave us physical education; running, lifting weights, exercise etc. But where I went it was really a sports class not a PE class.

However, I admit I did love the showers afterward.

Not one of my favorite classes. I was good at running and swimming, but that's about it. And yes, I was always one of the last ones chosen for teams.

I really hated P.E. especially in high school. We had to take 3 years of it, although I did get out of two semesters by taking marching band. At my high school, anybody with any modicum of an interest in sports joined a team sport or a PE class focused on a specific activity (swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, etc.) leaving only those of us with no interest in athletic activities in "general physical education". It was miserable for both the students and usually the teachers too. The worst was one semester when I had the basketball coach for my teacher. He had this air about him that he was too good to teach PE and that he should only have to deal with the various basketball teams. It was the only C I got in high school, although I'm not even sure how that was possible being that our grades were determined mainly from dressing out and participation.

Another semester I took weight lifting since it was the only class that fit into my busy schedule at the time. It was actually a pretty decent class because the instructor (the varsity football coach) understood that a lot of us weren't jocks yet still reached out to us.

If I could do it all over again, I would have taken swim class instead. I'm sure people just did their own thing swimming laps all day, which would have been a lot easier than dealing with the BS I endured in general PE.

We had showers at my high school, but nobody used them and they were never turned on. Still, it was exciting sneaking peaks in the locker room :)

P.E. was no big deal, just another class. When I was in school we still had seperate classes for boys and girls. We were required to dress out for class and nude shower afterwards from seventh grade on. Just a bunch of adolescents sprouting woodies in the locker room.
