With Dry July coming up in Australia I decided to participate again. A month of sobriety to kick start the writing of the feature film I'm working on for my script writing class sounded like a good idea.
Anyway, it's now Dry July and I've not drunk any alcohol really for the past month. The writing is flying, which is good. But just like last year when I did Dry July I've ended up with a urinary tract infection.
Now I've got to drink 2 litres of Cranberry Juice and I hate the stuff. It's awful.
So I was wondering, what "home remedies" do you use when you sick? And do any of them ever taste good?

sobriety doesn't cause a UTI, nor did the fact it's Dry July. It just happens I've had one within a month of quitting drinking both times I've done Dry July.
