but i know lots of people earn their living from weddings full time.

When you are at a third party wedding site, the officiant, the music, the decor, the venue, catering are ALL VENDORS. We all work together to what the bridal party wants and paid for. He should never ever be a wedding officiant again!"

He's gone too far the other way, for the same reason some totally support the priest all the way. We don't know what went before.

If I'd been the priest, I'd have quietly said to the couple, "Excuse me a moment", then quietly instructed the photographer to back off a few steps. As I said, the intervention was fine, the manner was not.
 
To be honest,
Muslim weddings are the best,
they are quick and simple, photographers/video can do what ever they want, just take off your shoes thats all.
 
That photographer have done 300 plus weddings.
That priest maybe have done 2 or 3 weddings and thought he was the most important person in that ceremony :lol: The more you watch the video, the more stupid he looks.

As I mentioned in an earlier post which was completely ignored, we don't know what went on BEFORE the 'hissy fit'. We don't see how long and in what ways the photographer and videographer had been as intrusive as they were when the final straw fell on the camel's back. I'm not saying that the priest could have handled it better, but I think there is a whole lot more to the story that what we see in that clip, especially since the photographer had to be told at least 3 times to back off before he relented. He refused to move, and that is not the sign of a professional photographer.

It's doubtful that we will see the entire ceremony, so we're stuck with the clip. However, if not for the actions of the photographer - being in a place where a professional would not have been (he was close enough for the mic to pick up the sound of his camera) - this thread would not even exist.

The priest may not have been polite, but I believe the ignorant cameraman drove him to it. After all, he was all jokes and smiles the moment before the 'hissy'.
