  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

I like to hit that priest in the face.

Convenient definition of attack: Telly has a proven history of intentionally posting unfounded attacks on all sorts of things, and when posters rebut him, that constitutes "attack thread."

Riiiiiiiiiight. Got it.

And a well-demonstrated hatred of religion.

Oh so THAT'S what all this is about.

You must both be pretty over-sensitive about the issue if you consider Telstra's simple-minded observations on a snappy priest at a wedding to be some sort of grand, well-informed, unshakeable and convincing attack on Christianity. I mean really?

It's hardly worth getting a bee in your bonnet about - I doubt Telstra's numerous child-like remarks on races and cultures are taken seriously by ANYONE - it's just the way he is and the way he's always been, so why the objections now all of a sudden?

Your outrage would be better vented in the 'Funny Anti-Religious Pics' thread where on occasion even *I* found some pics to be in bad taste and overly offensive.

Launching a campaign of harrassment on Telstra is pointless and unproductive.

A few of them keep repeating about "religious hatred" is quite annoying.
I challenged them to find those posts or shut up until proven.

If i'm trolling,
you guys are troll producers.

There's no IF. And your ignorance astounds me.

The Priest that married my ex and I told us a couple of photographers were not allowed in the church because they had been disrespectful to him or placed things on the alter. A major no no in the church. He gave them a warning but they repeated their behavior. Most clergy are more than patient with people and wont snap like that unless they've been blown off. I suspect we aren't seeing the entire event. I'm sure they were warned and didn't think he'd follow through or didn't care

Your ignorance of the wedding industry disqualified you from making any judgement about what those photographers did or didnot do.

You only heard one sided story (your priest).
I can guaranteed your priest have many skeletons in his closet.

I happened to know both wedding celebrants/priests industry and wedding photography industry.
Most celebrants/priests are good, most photographers are good. Accept that priest in the video, he shouldn't do any weddings.

He doesn't troll, he simply observes, comments, and asks questions. Nothing wrong with that.

And he quotes my post to someone else, highlights part of it and responds to it, and when I catch him at it, he says he's responding so something that someone ELSE posted. What kind of explanation is that? All this after he had asked me to stop responding to him, which I did.

That is trolling. That is baiting. And he will do it again.

He can't admit that he is wrong even when he proves it with his own evidence. We're all wrong. Not him.

No point in that. It would be too gratifying for the little boys who want to draw dirty pictures in class to make the nuns mad. Also, no one is making any debatable point there. They scorn religion and the religious and revel in having a pissfest that is one-sided.

They also, like here, don't care about truth of facts.

Here are other people's reaction:

"I will punch a preacher dead in the middle of his face if he pulled this shit at mine or ANYBODY else's wedding I am present at...

Clearly just a little temper tantrum on the part of the priest. Inappropriate and unprofessional particularly in light of them having discussed access prior. Photography and videography are SUPER important at a wedding as they serve as memories/reminders for the couple for the rest of their lives. "

Sorry guys but you should know by now not to let telly rustle your jimmies.

Like seriously is there any point arguing with him about anything? He doesn't listen, and on top of that, why do you care what he thinks? Why do you care what telstra thinks? Telstra, and what he thinks, who cares?

You are making things up.

I think that the minister needs to learn to relax and enjoy the moment.
