Yes I’ve watched it a few times but I agree with what NotHardUp1 said about it in post 194. The contestants they’ve had on have been idiots. It wasn’t really very interesting to watch.

I’m glad the recent champion lost last night. The way he clapped annoyed the hell out of me :lol: he did a Nancy Pelosi clap every time.
 
The Champion tonight took home less money than the second place contestant. :rotflmao:

With the third place contestant taking home a standard $1k and the second place contestant getting a standard $2k the champion’s final amount was only $1,999

I just found that funny :lol:
 
Has anyone been watching Matt Amodio? He’s taken over second place in consecutive wins over James and is currently at 35 wins.

That stupid grin of his after every question gets on my nerves, too.

He won't make it to Ken's 75 games.

Yes, I am watching Jeopardy. I feel a little sorry for the others players because they don't have a chance against Matt and some of them are good and would win if Matt wasn't in the game, but I am enjoying the show anyway. Matt's grin doesn't bother me enough to dislike him.
 
It seems to me that this grin is more from embarrassment, like he is almost sorry for being so smart. He seems like a modest sort to me.

I'm surprised he wrote 'Poland' for Final Jeopardy. At that point I figured he wanted to make sure he lost.

^ I believe they've settled on Mayim Bialik. She is being introduced as the host. She's good.

There was talk that they were going to have Mayim and Ken Jennings share the hosting duties, but Mayim has been hosting since Mike Richards was fired and there's been no talk in over a month about Ken. He has several other shows going on anyway, so I imagine his schedule is quite tight.

I've never seen the new version of The Chase. Is Beastie on it? How about Brooke?

The new Chase actually has Beastie and three GOAT Jeopardy! mavens, and one of the four is chosen for each episode of the show, so one time it can be James Holzhauer, next show it can be Beastie...and sometimes there's banter shown among the three that aren't chosen for that particular show. Pretty cool, if I may say so myself. I'll just say that not all are "equals" under the two-minute (pressure) warning.
 
^ Thanks. I found it on YouTube and started watching an episode with Brad Rutter as The Chaser. I wasn't impressed with Sara Haines. She was so slow and sucked the excitement out of the game.

I may stream an episode or two to see if it gets any better, but I much prefer Brooke Burns.
