Mayim is such a terrible host she almost makes the show unwatchable. Maybe we can send her over to Wheel of Fortune now that Pat is retiring. I think it would be a better fit for her.

I agree. She was impressive during the auditions. Now, not so much. Unlike Alex and Ken, she doesn't know the answers and there's always an annoying pause before she responds to the contestants.

Her cadence is off too. The clues flow out off Ken but she seems like she has a difficult time reading the clues.

She can't read or speak French, either. She does a bit better with Spanish, though.

Ken is back to finish out the season as Mayim has taken time away from the show in support of the writers' strike. I am not disappointed. Just two days back behind the podium, it's nice to see how prepared and 'on top of things' Ken is.

I'm all for making Ken the one and only permanent host.

I figure Pat will get it as a retirement gift.

This was a category in the Daytime Emmy Awards for decades; it just got moved to the primetime categories this year.
