  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

I tried a beer and found it to be...

I also like to pick up the premade mixed drink. I still have a bottle of Mojito.

as a cuban-american, i'd just like to state for the record that this post offends me deeply.

*sigh* and i thought it was bad when i ordered one in a bar last weekend and the bartender tore up the mint leaves.

Piggy, I agree, Alcohol is the most disgusting shit I ever tasted (ok, maybe not the most).

Budlight is crap. If you're ever in the illinois/Ohio/Indiana/Michigan area, this is the beer for you! Quite delicious!

I drunk some beer for the first time playing beer pong during prom weekend, and thought the same exact thing. The first game of beer pong was some low quality shit. The second was Bud Light, and it tasted just as disgusting.

Is it an acquired taste, or is it just American beer minus Sam Adams?

try a very cold Corona, cold Pacifico, cold Sol all these with lime.

Red tail, MOose head,

or Tequiza cold...

I'm a big fan of the Red Hook family of beers... their Sun Rye is fantastic on a hot summer day. In my area(northeast), there are a bunch of relatively local breweries, brewpubs and such... Shipyard, Long Trail, Magic Hat, Red Hook, Sam Adams, as well as a few more not as recognizable brands.

If you are looking to acquire that taste for good, flavorful beer I'd recommend taking a trip to a small craft brewery and sample their beers. Most craft breweries would also offer tours and explanations on what flavors are intended in each of their beers.

A group of my friends and I have been talking about how awesome it would be to get in to homebrewing, but I haven't earned the time or resources yet to be able to do so. Eventually...

Nothing beats the cool cool taste of a bottle of MILLER High Life

Everclear ftw!

But on the subject of beer I can drink it by the pint and love almost all beer. I hate Heineken, and refuse to drink Busch anything.... Go Miller, Coors, and Corona! :D

I knew there was something I liked about you....:)

Love an ice cold Miller in the summer. All that dark brew crap, and ale crap...and any other crap....you can keep it.Growing up,my Dad would let me steal a small bottle once in a while from our refrigerator in the garage. He called the small bottles "nips"

I miss my Pop.....

"The Champagne of Bottle Beer".

I used to like their "splits" what they now call a pony I believe, when I don't want a full 12 oz. The 7 oz is just right.

Back in the college daze, I drank beer (mostly Moosehead) like it was going out of style... I loved the stuff. If someone had told me then that I'd stop loving it I'd have told them they were nuts.

But, it happened.

Gradually I just lost my taste for beer altogether. (This was around the same time I discovered my love for Canadian whiskey... ;))

I haven't had a beer in years. I tried having an AnchorSteam when I was out in San Fran, just 'cause that's it's home base, but I only had a few sips and threw the rest away.

I could never acquire a taste for beer.

It used to be a big social impediment not drinking beer.

Who knew rotting hops would taste so good??

ANyhoo, I will say that after a 12 hour day working in the shop, nothing hits the spot like a MGD from the bottom of the cooler. But just one - I then move on to real beer.

bitter, and gross.

Is beer an acquired taste?

It was a Bud Light.

i detest most mainstream american beer....find some small microbrewery where they take time and pride in their product...IMHO
